I can see the lightning symbol and the battery is green, but after using it the % only goes down, even with moderate use. On the widget, I see the battery case % still at 100, but my phone's battery is only going down. Is there a way to fix it? Maybe I need to use it more before it recognizes it properly? Sometimes I wake up in the early morning to check the time. Today it was 6.45 and I continued sleep. When I woke up, the Wi-Fi was on and the notifications were on my screen. This has happened many times before. I turn it off straight from up, should I go to settings to do it? It's weird I just check the time and close the phone immediately and boom the Wi-Fi is on hahah. | Can't remove number from old phone I have tried almost everything. Posted: 26 Feb 2021 09:57 PM PST I'm not that tech savy so I'm sorry if this question has an easy answer. I had an iPhone 6s before I got the second gen SE. It's good. I like it. However, I can't remove my number from my old phone even after factory resetting it and removing the sim card for it. I wanted a new sim card anyways. My new phone gets messages with the same number, but it doesn't let me get calls or verification codes. All the calls and codes go to my old phone. It keeps saying I need to put another trusting number in but I don't have another number to put in. Someone I know suggested buying a burner phone and using it's number but that's such a hassle. My friend tried using a text now number but they don't allow codes to be sent through. I went through everything on Apple's website and Youtube videos and I can't seem to find a solution for the problem. [link] [comments]  |

| Bombarded By Group FaceTime Calls From Random Numbers? Posted: 26 Feb 2021 05:28 PM PST Hi! Just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else - I tried looking this up on the good ol' internet but couldn't find anything analogous. I just got 9 group FaceTime calls from unknown numbers in the span of like 4 minutes. After the 3rd call, I put my finger over my camera and answered but it was just a bunch of black screens. I hung up after a few seconds and they called right back. I then blocked all of the numbers in the call but they were still able to FaceTime me. I disabled my FaceTime feature for the time being. I tried looking up some of the numbers and couldn't find a name attached to any of them. Almost all of the numbers shared my area code. It's a bit creepy, to be honest. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a new phishing scheme? Also, does anyone know if there's a way I can limit my FaceTime calls to only my contacts? Thank you! [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone 11 refuses to import photos to windows. Posted: 26 Feb 2021 05:12 PM PST iPhone 11 will not import photos to Surface Pro 6. When following the Microsoft and apple instructions of using the Windows photo app, it simply errors out every time. Either before anything is imported or after 14 photos are imported. There are 930 in total. I went through every step and Apple said "sorry we can't help." And hung up on me. So much for supporting your products....pretty livid and may return my 12 pro over this to be honest. Please note the DCIM method through folders also doesn't work. Now after 10 days of regular use, this percentage has dropped to 86%. Does this mean the battery is faulty? Luckily the product has a warranty so it can be fixed if it is. Thanks. Up until a few days ago, I could set it on my charger and it would stream even if the phone was locked (display off). | Iphone X flash flicks for a second on taking a photo Posted: 26 Feb 2021 09:28 AM PST Regular flash on my iphone works properly. It also works properly while taking videos but when I try to take pics by enabling the flash, it lights up & closes and at last just lights a tiny bit and stops. I have restarted my phone multiple times and even reset it. Edit : I just observed this the flash isn't even working in video mode if the room is completely dark. If the room is lit the flash works for video . And the auto flash is off. It is extremely weird. I am using iphone x on latest IOS 14.4 . Please help me. Thanks [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 26 Feb 2021 04:00 PM PST As it stands, with the in-app notifications turned on for the Gmail app, the tone cannot be customized, and is quiet and short. I am needing to monitor an inbox and this includes overnight. Ideally, I'd love there to be a solution (either a built in feature, or an app in the app store) which will trigger an alarm or an audio alert of some kind that persists until snoozed/dismissed when the email account attached to the Gmail account receives a new email. | iphone wireless charger problem Posted: 26 Feb 2021 02:41 PM PST Hello, I'm experiencing this problem with my iPhone's 8 wireless charger, I only got it last week and it stopped working already, the wireless charger wont work but whenever I place the iPhone on the wireless charger pad the little red light would turn blue indicating that its been charged when it isn't, it doesn't even show the battery icon on the iPhone. the brand name for the charger is zentality wireless charger. The reason why I'm using the wireless charger coz the charging port malfunctioned, and i believe its damaged coz i changed the charger multiple times yet it wont work, how do i fix this problem? My question: since I do not own a usb c charger, can I use a USB-A charger (18W) and a USB-A to lightning cable that I used for my previous phones to charge the newly purchased XR? | Posted: 26 Feb 2021 12:58 PM PST iPhone 8, IOS 14.2 Hello recently I've been having microphone issues, researching I found that the iPhone has 3 mics. Conducting the voice memo test, and the rear video camera test I found that those two work fine. For some reason the microphone used for front face recording / siri has a delay. For example I hold down the button for siri, and for 3 seconds I have to say random words before Siri starts listening to me. No sound or very low sound for those first couple seconds in camera. Then it captures normal sound. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Wasn't sure if this belonged in software or here since it could fall under both. Any help appreciated, thank you 🙏 Leaving this post up just in case someone has a similar issue. It appears to be fixed after using a toothbrush dipped in Isopropyl Alcohol to clean the mesh. It still had the delay, but after I scraped the mesh lightly with my nail Siri is picking up my voice right away. Front facing video as well. [link] [comments]  |
