    [News] MacOS Big Sur 11 beta 3 (Intel) breaks Checkra1n.

    Just to give you heads up, I updated to MacOS Big Sur 11 beta 3 and Checkra1n failed repeatedly. It freezes with the message "Checking if device is ready "

    When I downgraded to 11.2 it started to work again.

    So a few days ago I broke my iPhone X and had to restore and update it to iOS 14.4 and lost my jailbreak in the process.

    After updating I tried to jb my phone again but checkra1n sent my phone into the same recovery mode boot loop that originally broke my iPhone.

    Every time I try to use checkra1n it sends my phone to recovery mode boot loop and I have to restore it again with my MacBook.

    Is there anyone who could help me? Any help would be appreciated.

    [Discussion] [Question] Apple vs Checkra1n - Where can Apple go?

    The wonderful tool checkra1n has been out for more than one year now. It allowed life-time jailbreak for all device from iPhone 5s to iPhone X: game changer. The team made us understand that Apple could do nothing ever about it, as it is an hardware-level exploit. I even originally thought that the app would almost never require an update, as Apple could change nothing to it.

    However, we've seen for this time that it's not "as powerful" as it seemed to be. Apple introduced mitigations over mitigations over time. Now, Apple even seems to start patching macOS.

    So I'm really confident that the checkra1n team is super talented, and I'm really thankful for that. But where can Apple go with these mitigations? Will the team stay as strong as they are to continue dealing with them? Can Apple "win" the fight? Is checkm8 really unpatchable?

    As always, if I made mistakes on some points, I'd be happy to fix them as soon as possible. Let's discuss.

    [Discussion] How do you make Xcode create IOS Development profile?

    Hey guys I finally got macOS Catalina running fine on VMware Workstation, got Xcode installed. I can plug in my iPhone and the VM detects the connection and I can see my phone in the Virtual Mac OS.

    Now I was under the impression that with a Mac and Xcode, anyone with an apple ID can sign 3 apps for 7 days and even deploy those apps to the phone without jailbreaking.

    The problem is that I have tried creating a new project and creating an IOS app, I choose to login to Xcode 12 using my newly created Apple ID, which is the same I'm using on the phone for iCloud and for the App Store. But no matter what; I can only get Xcode to give me a Mac Development Signing Certificate.

    I have tried 2 Apple IDs and both give the same type of certificate which I Believe is only good for signing Mac OS Apps?

    How do you make Xcode give You a IOS Developer Signing Certificate for re-signing IOS apps?

    I jail broke but after like a month these stupid battery problems came it's so irritating because when I'm doing something important it does. Any fixes. If you are thinking calibrate your battery. It didn't work either any other fixes.

    [Question] I have the OTA Blocker installed but suddenly today I got message that iOS 14.4 was downloaded and was going to be installed tonight

    Quick fix was of course to delete the update from my phone. I'm on iOS 14.2 and been jailbroken a long time and never had this issue happen before. Phone has been in jailbroken state for at least last two weeks meaning that this OTA update managed to bypass the OTABlocker tweak. It says it's up to iOS 13 but the problem has never occurred until now. Any solutions?
