Posted: 04 Feb 2021 07:54 AM PST Do the expansions affect initial gameplay, are they separate campaigns, or do they all meld together with features, specialization trees, etc? Trying to figure out if I should get them all at once or not, ignoring the bundle price factor. [link] [comments]

Good Hex turn based strategy games? Posted: 04 Feb 2021 10:40 AM PST I really love Panzer General 2 and Battle for wesnoth, is there anything like it for ios? Being able to level up units and recall them is a favorite trope, so if you have anything similar to that to recomend, i thank you. Posted: 04 Feb 2021 09:42 AM PST Like the title says, after testing the all the top android and apple devices, the iPad Pro (4th Gen) runs this game flawlessly. Out of all the phones and tablets I've tested, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is close second, I averaged 58 FPS when recording FPS. The iPad Air 4 I got around 53 to 55 FPS (still needs optimization). The iPhone 11 Pro Max I also got around 55 FPS but thermals were the hottest. As for android, the Tab S7 and note 20 I got 50 FPS, the S21 Ultra SD 888 version I got sadly 42 FPS (Still needs major optimization for new chipset). As for the iPad Pro (4th Gen) you can use this video as reference - https://youtu.be/c7TxXI1bWbc I'll be testing more devices, but by far the iPad Pro 2020 variant is the most impressive. Strategy game like Conflict of Nations on mobile Posted: 04 Feb 2021 03:18 AM PST I am looking for a strategy game like Conflict of Nations on mobile, but not real-time. I don't want it to be battling real opponents, but against AI instead. Are there any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Does Slay the Spire cloud save yet? Posted: 03 Feb 2021 11:05 AM PST Finally have a phone big enough for the game. Not gonna restart though. [link] [comments]
Peaceful games like Whale Trail for iPhone X? Posted: 03 Feb 2021 05:20 PM PST Whale Trail isn't full screen on my iPhone and it's exactly the kind of game I like on iPhone that I use to both de-stress and just enjoy the experience of being in a happy little world like that. It just needs to have a catchy soundtrack and a very lighthearted beautiful visual style and have simple controls with a satisfying gameplay loop. Thanks in advance [link] [comments]
Looking for a game that is actually about the process of crafting Posted: 03 Feb 2021 11:52 AM PST So perhaps you saw this post about a potion crafting game on /r/gaming yesterday. I downloaded the demo and it's awesome. Is there something similar on mobile where the focus is on making objects, and the actual process involved in making them? I don't want a management sim or a Match 3 game that is vaguely crafting theme, I want a game where the challenge is actually creating items. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Posted: 03 Feb 2021 06:27 PM PST Are there any paid RPGs in the gacha style? For example, I was a huge fan of FFBE, Illusion Connect, DFOO, etc, but the gacha mechanics eventually ground to a paywall halt. So is there a game that has similar gameplay to the gacha RPGs but costs up front? I'd be happy to drop up to $20 on a game that plays like FFBE but isn't F2P gacha. I think the closest I've played is Battlechasers, but I've beaten that one already. [link] [comments]
(Steam Link) Phantasy Star Online 2 tips Posted: 03 Feb 2021 02:37 PM PST
2nd edit: Okay apparently that option sucks. Try these custom desktop resolutions if you plan on plan on streaming PSO2 for long periods:
I haven't had luck with higher resolutions due to Nvidia's driver complaining that my monitor doesn't support it. (setting GPU scaling didn't help) ...

Posted: 03 Feb 2021 12:48 PM PST Stealth Master assassin ninja keeps bugging on me after the latest update. So that's done. What's another good semi-mindless time waster you would recommend? [link] [comments]
