| Posted: 06 Feb 2021 05:35 PM PST Made a discovery today when I misplaced my phone, jokingly I asked my Apple TV to "find my phone" and low and behold it pinged it through the "find my" app and made it make a noise even though it was switched to vibrate. I've had my ATV for years, has no idea it could do that, thought you needed an iPad or computer to trigger the "find my phone" ping. Super helpful though and thought you may also find this useful. Just says to make sure I'm connected. It works on my Samsung downstairs and Airplay works on the LG via YouTube TV. Anybody have issues using League Pass over Airplay on an LG TV? HBO works as does Hulu and Amazon but the movie the vanished has been on my watch now for a while and just saw it's available on Netflix through the Netflix app.. when I scroll down on the movie it says only available to purchase throw iTunes and no Netflix option. Whenever I'm watching any content my avr switches to 5.1 even though I have stereo (causing the sound to be super quiet). I went into settings and do not see an option to switch to stereo. | X-Box Controller (very latest hardware) not connecting to AppleTV? Posted: 06 Feb 2021 10:31 AM PST Update: Am told use latest Beta on ATV. Update2: It worked. Only the X button works. This is a brand-new blue one, purchased directly from Microsoft. (I do not own an X-Box. So can't test against that. Don't even know anyone with modern one.) I plugged it into a Win10 PC via USB-C. Downloaded "X-Box Accessories" app from Microsoft. Updated the controller firmware. Was then able to control that X-Box Accessories app with the X-Box controller. So it isn't like the thing doesn't work at all. But unlinking it and re-linking it to AppleTV didn't change anything. I'm afraid to update my other, older X-Box controller to new firmware in case this is related to very-modern Firmware on the controller itself, and not related to any hardware issue. Any suggestions? I've rebooted ATV. Latest public ATV firmware. I've got a working X-Box controller too, an older one. I was hoping for 2 working ones. [link] [comments]  | ||
