    It's nearly useless... You can't download multiple files at once, you can't upload in the background, it's like the app was designed in 1999. Is this just me??? The app has decent reviews on the app store?!

    Why does iOS not allow screen mirroring between iMac/iPad/iPhone/MacBook as part of their standard software?

    We shouldn't need to pay for a third party app to do something so simple. It seems very like iOS to have a seamless experience like handoff but for screen mirroring. I just don't get it.

    DAE’s Safari freeze or hang on login pages?!

    iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB

    A lot of times (1 out of every 10 instances) Safari does not budge or move when on a logon page. I can exit out of the app and iOS works normal. If I quit safari and open it back it takes me a few pages back or removes the tab completely.

    It happens even on a cleared cache and a minimal amount of tabs open.

    This happens on multiple websites. Nintendo.com, online retailers, and other websites in different industries so it can't be just poor website design.

    The freeze gets triggered when tapping into the text field. It also happens in reset password pages.

    This started two updates ago but lessened with each update. It does not happen in normal Firefox on iOS.

    iMessage poor audio Quality

    Hey guys, I just bought an iPhone 12 Pro and noticed that when I use iMessage to send audios it sounds like if the mic was clogged but it's not because when I use WhatsApp to send audios it's crisp and clear.

    Does anyone else is facing this issue?

    Contacts app now always opens on "last used" contact, is there any way to fix this so it just opens back on the list?

    I can't remember when exactly this started happening for me (I want to say one of the recent updates), but now when I open Contacts it always opens on a person, rather than just the generic list of contacts like it always used to.

    Someone did ask this question in Apple Discussions back in September 2019 (it definitely wasn't doing it then for me) but never received an answer, so if it is some kind of bug you can encounter it has been around for awhile.

    64GB iPhone Storage

    Do you think 64GB is enough for an iPhone? I currently have an Android with 16GB of internal storage and 128GB of SD on which I keep photos, videos and files. I'm not a guy who takes a lot of photos or videos.

    I use a lot Apple Clips for creating short clips for social media for work. The problem is that the videos created with Clips are wasy too sharp and with too much contrast.

    Since Ios 14.4, my iphone XS max and 8+ Turn off wifi when the screen is off, then reconnect when the screen is on. How can I prevent the wifi from disconnecting after screen lock?

    For some reason my WhatsApp notification volume is tied to my media volume (iPhone 12 Pro - iOS 14.4). Is this a bug of some sort?

    Multiple DNS on iOS

    Hi, I recently discovered the DNSCLOAK app, recommended by Quad 9 to use it's secure DNS on iOS. It appears as a virtuel VPN in my settings.

    But I use AdGuard (free version so without VPN) and Lockdown too (free version without VPN), so AdGuard already appears in the DNS setting (not DNSCLOAK) and Lockdown already appears in the VPN setting.

    So I must admit I don't know what I am doing and it is a complete mess.

    Do you know how these apps may interact with each other ? How iOS know how to « prioritise » some DNS over others ? What should I activate to get a good privacy and security without doing too much and messing things up ?

    iphone not detecting SIM card. Please help

    Sister bought me an iPhone 11 from USA and everything works perfectly except it doesn't detect(?) the SIM card(We already unlocked the iPhone by the way) it says no service, when I try to call it just doesn't let me, can't receive sms etc. I've tried 3 different SIM cards and none of them work but they work on other phones. So idk what to do. Already cleaned them rebooted my iPhone etc etc etc.

    One curious thing is when I go to settings and select cellular I can see the name of the sim provider is accurate for all 3 sims I tried and I can also see the carrier services so it detects it???????? But it doesn't work??

    Also when I go to settings>about and scroll to the bottom, I can also see the name of the carrier but on network it says "not available"

    I just didn't know what to do. It's really stressful and I'd appreciate some help

    Edit: could it be that it doesn't work because I'm not using a sim from USA or something like that? But we unlocked the phone (no sim restrictions) so idk. :(

    Videos darken after a few seconds

    I see this happening all the time when I'm watching YouTube, for example. The controls fade away, and then maybe 3 seconds later I see the screen begin to darken. It's mainly noticeable because the whites turn to a light grey.

    Does anyone know how I can change this? Constantly gets on my nerves!!

    How do you delete an app that removes all data on it?

    It might seem easy but hear me out

    I have this digital wallet app installed before, then deleted it via holding the icon, then Delete App.

    A month later I decided to use that app again so I installed it from the App Store.

    Now this app uses Face ID for login, and I had it enabled before. To my suprise, when I opened the app after the 2nd install, it used my Face ID, then logged in with the account that I used before. It's like it was never deleted

    I don't know if there's something wrong with how I deleted the app, but I really was shocked that it preserved the data.

    So now I'm worried for all the apps I deleted before, if the data was even erased as well.

    How do you really delete an app?

    When we got the phone everything was fine, except that he had some accessibility or guided access thingy on. Restoring worked fine, but after unlocking the lock screen, the touch stops working. Notifications, calls etc still come through, but the touch just stops working. Anybody had similar issues? The phone seems to be Iphone SE 2020 on IOS 14.2

    I'm a teenager and I have a iPhone 6 I just spent my own money on it and got it fixed but iPhone 6 doesn't support iOS14 , does anyone know how I can get iOS14 on my iPhone 6 in any way possible. The thing is don't have enough money to buy a new iPhone 6s and above or even if I buy a refurbished one it will be just stupid to do such a thing cause I have already spent my money on this phone and works pretty well.

    Any Suggestions For File Transfer/Annotating?

    Hoping that there is something out there that someone knows of.

    I am looking for a program that I can send a pdf from my Windows PC directly to my iPad for making annotations.

    My job requires me to review various documents for construction approvals and as of right now, we are still printing every document and keeping a hard file for each project. Typically I just initial and date the printed documents in our hard file upon review, however, the company is wanting to move paperless.

    The way I've been reviewing digitally is by dragging the PDF into my iCloud folder on my PC, then opening it through the files app on my iPad. Once I've finished my review and marked up the document, I then have to save it and then locate it after it's synced on my PC so that I can finally upload it to our server.

    Doing this process is a bit tedious and with sometimes in excess of 100+ documents every day, I'm looking for an alternative.

    I don't know if it's possible, but is there a way I can send a PDF to my iPad and it instantly opens up for me to mark up? I have tried Duet Air to use my iPad as a 3rd monitor but I want to avoid screen mirroring.

    Whenever I try to download a photo from Google photos to my iOS device, I’m getting an error. This error only comes for photos that were shot on my iPhone and then backed up to Google. Any help? Already tried asking in community forums, no responses.

    How to Screen Record on iPhone

    Follow steps:

    1. Go to your Settings. Tap Control Center and then Customize Controls.
    2. Tap the green + button next to Screen Recording.
    3. To start a recording, drag your control center by swiping from the bottom of your screen to the top. Once added, the screen recording button will be in the lower left corner.
    4. When you start a recording, you'll see an option under the Start Recording button to turn on or off the microphone audio. Tap the button to turn on the audio before you start recording.
    5. To turn off the screen record, swipe to the control center and press the record button again. You will notice that the red recording bar at the top of your screen will close.

    Question about iOS screen recording(iPadOS technically)

    So I just recorded an hour and a half of footage for my podcast with the built in screen recording in iPadOS. I was using my AirPods Pro. I just listened to the recording and there's no audio! Do the mics in my AirPods not work with screen recording or is this a bug of some sort?
