    I'm trying to complete my degree in English after a 2.5-year-long hiatus. This will be my first time taking a class with my iPad Pro as my main device. I need to purchase digital versions of my books; three out of four have Kindle versions, and one is only available digitally in PDF form. I normally use Adobe Acrobat for signing and sending documents, but I'm not sure it would be any good for highlighting text or making typed notes. Would anyone have a better recommendation? Also, is there any way to zoom out of PDFs when the iPad is in landscape mode? It blows up each page, so I have to scroll down to read the whole thing.

    I love the Smart Keyboard, but they sure spoil quickly.

    This is my 2nd Smart Keyboard, after the first started coming apart at the seams after about a year and a half. https://i.imgur.com/yH3xjam.jpg Purchased the second one in April last year, and while it seems to be holding up better, seems the fabric is prone to surface-level damage.

    As a teacher, I am prone to folding the Smart Keyboard back on itself to serve as a protective backing for my iPad Pro before placing it down on the table. I don't abuse my products, but I don't exactly baby them. Either way, seeing this happen to a $200 keyboard pains my heart.

    It's still within my 1-year warranty. Think it's worth a trip down to the App Store to see if a replacement can be had, or is this part of normal wear and tear?

    My iPad 3rd generation still works, surprisingly, and I figured maybe I should make the most out of it by buying a Bluetooth keyboard. My personal laptop is pretty heavy so I was thinking maybe this could be a good substitute at least for typing/writing. Will I have a problem looking for Bluetooth keyboards since it's an old model?

    Best way to transfer files from Surface to iPad?

    I'm swapping from the Surface Pro 6 to the iPad Pro 12.9. I have a lot of reference photos, drawing files, and documents on my surface I need to transfer over. What are the best ways to transfer a lot of files from PC to iPad? I'm trying to upload them to Google Drive but it's a long process and saving the photos is proving difficult. Any advice on how to mass transfer from a Surface to an iPad?

    Can you view icloud videos on iPad?

    I am seriously considering getting an iPad Pro when the new model comes out over the next few months. Music and video production on sidecar looks extremely tempting. I've starting using my old iPad 3 as a controller my eventide H9 and it's fantastic. (Although it can't do much else due to age)

    The only issue I have is I would need to be able to access my iCloud videos without 3rd party methods.

    On my MacBook they play fine if I click on them they open on IINA.

    Is there a similar way of playing the files on an iPad Pro? This is kind of vital for me since I watch a lot of arthouse films and even though I subscribe to BFI and Mubi there's still quite often stuff that's not on these platforms I download or rip to my mac.

    I tried opening them on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and all it does it download them to the phone's local harddrive but won't play them which is useless.

    How can you download a PDF from sites like these? On Mac the popup appears allowing you to download it easily, but no such option on the iPad?

    I want to watch video on my iPad as I don't have a TV in the kitchen or bedroom but I'd like to have the good audio of my nearby Sonos Airplay speakers. When I try this the audio sounds great but the video on the iPad is not visible. I've looked all over the internet for the answer. One other person clearly stated this question, others chipped in that they had the same question, but it was never answered. Is there any way to just send the audio? Thanks.

    PDF Expert drains iPad Air 2020 battery?

    Does anybody notice that Readdle's PDF Expert app on the ipad drains battery and doesn't put it to sleep at a designated time?

    I have to reboot the ipad to get it working.

    If I persistently use the PDF expert app for an hour or so, I noticed there is alot of background usage.

    Multitasking. Whenever I multitask with safari, the one with the red marking overlaps the safari page. I thought, by updating the OS, it would solve the problem.

    I got an iPad 2 for Christmas back in 2011, and It's just been sitting in a box gathering dust for about 8 years or so. It has a small hairline crack on the screen unfortunately, but aside from that it's in good condition. If I decide to sell it, how much would it be worth?

    I like to use my ipad and plug it to an external monitor via hdmi when i watch videos/movies. But when I watch the videos like for instance on youtube, the subtitles dont appear when the video plays on the external monitor. It's frustrating because some videos I watch arent in english so I need the subtitles from youtube.

    If I purchase the pro version will the subtitles from youtube be enabled?

    Or are there any other apps that allow this? Thanks.

    Trouble with clicking and dragging in safari

    I am trying to use my iPad to play a game on a virtual tabletop, roll20.net, which I access through safari. My problem is when I join the game I cannot click and drag my assigned character token on the map.

    Is there something in either the safari or accessibility functions that might make a click and drag function usable in Safari?

    Help me bored IT wizard, you're my only hope.

    I'm not really sure how to ask this...So I just bought the 128 gb iPad 8th gen and I love it and it's got enough space but is there anyway I can move the the app data from my main iPad storage to the iCloud storage? I mean I got the 2tb storage for this reason.
