| Why does predictive text/auto correct on ipad suck? Posted: 10 Jan 2021 10:10 AM PST I have an android phone and typing on my ipad sucks, specially on a 12.9 screen i thought the predictive words would at least be as good as google keyboard. On gboard I barely type and just tap on words it could make the sentence out for me efficiently, with 2 languages. Idk why the predictive text on iPadOS is so bad, usually 2-3 letters left before it can predict the right word and it can barely predict the next word. Even bought an apple pencil cuz I thought it'd be a game changer but the technology is still so far from being viable, like when it autocorrects into words instead of converting your writing by letters. Is there any keyboard modifier/replacement app i can use instead? [link] [comments]  | ||

I read in some sources that it is with 3GB of RAM and others that it is with 4GB of RAM. I know Apple does not share the RAM of its devices but can many people here confirm that the iPad Air 4 (2020) has 4GB of RAM. This is the only thing that I need to know before the purchase!I do not want to go with the Pro as it is expensive for the moment! And I love that it has C-type port. Posted: 10 Jan 2021 10:34 AM PST Hi guys, was talking to a seller on Facebook Marketplace who's selling a new and unopened 2020 iPad (32gb) for €350 (intend on haggling the price a bit) He's going to send me on a video shortly of the unopened box with the serial number on the back so I can verify it on Apple's website. He also said I could open it there with him at which point I'll try and login to my iCloud account. Is there anything I'm missing or something else I can do to verify that the iPad is legit? Posted: 10 Jan 2021 08:51 AM PST I would really like an iPad reading app for your children that allow them to read with someone remotely, a teacher or grandparent. It would have to have some sort of shared reading, through screen share, or synchronised book. It would also need to have voice, and inline video so the educator can ensure the child is engaged. So is it the same situation still now in Jan 2021? Asking cause my iPad doesn't seem to be playing Dolby vision/HDR/4K videos on Apple TV+ - downloaded files are around 2.4GB but seem to be in just 1080p. I have to restart my iPad then it recognizes input but it stops responding after a few hours. I made sure the magnets were clear so I don't think that's the issue. Anyone else experience this? | Operating 2 synced Ipads, how does it work? Posted: 10 Jan 2021 01:29 PM PST Hi, I currently use my Ipad air 3 primarily for entertainment. Games, youtube, netflix, etc. I really like the new Ipad air 4 and would like to get it as a duplicate device. I would like the 2 ipads to be as synced as possible. Based on some google results, the best way to do this is just sync both ipads to the Icloud. Not all app will work as intended, depending on each app. However, I have a few questions if anyone currently operate 2 ipads this way.

It is by far the most convenient keyboard and could outclass even the magic keyboard from Apple. The standard slim folio is too bulky for the times that you do not want to use the keyboard, and the magic keyboard does not have enough protection for the device and is less convenient with positioning. My game stuttered for a minute then got really really smooth. It felt as if the display has 120hz. When I move the apps compared to an iPad Pro it looks the same. | Repair for Hairline Crack (6th gen) Posted: 09 Jan 2021 11:58 PM PST Hey guys, I just noticed I have a somewhat long but thin and barely noticeable crack on my iPad screen. I want to fix it but do not want to replace the entire screen for it. Some people have said to use superglue to fill the crack but frankly I only want to do that as a last resort. Having said that, I have seen glass solutions online that say they can repair glass, but I can't find any sources backing them up. My question is: are those glass solutions any good for repairing small screen cracks? If yes, what is the best brand? If not, why? [link] [comments]  |
