| Can Up Next automatically switch between streaming services in between episodes? Posted: 12 Jan 2021 01:56 PM PST I just started using the Apple TV app on my phone, and I'm interested in the Up Next feature. I want the feature to be able to automatically switch between the different streaming services as soon as an episode ends and the next one in the queue begins. Is this possible? Right now when I use it, I select the episode I want to play (for example one episode in Hulu) and after ending, Hulu automatically plays the next episode in Hulu instead of switching to the next episode in the queue in the next streaming service (for example an episode in HBOMax). So I have to manually go back to the Apple TV app in order to play the next queued episode each time. [link] [comments]  | ||

Today when I clicked play it opened in NBC's crap app. There used to be an Open In button on the show's info page but it's gone now. Since last night, every video that I attempt to play on my Apple TV 4K immediately errors out. I deleted and reinstalled the app, but it made no difference. I tweeted the YouTube support team and asked if there's a known outage, but I haven't gotten a response yet. All other apps work fine, and the YouTube app is working fine on my iPhone, iPad, and Nvidia Shield all on the same local network with the same Google account. Late night edit: I just tried again on my Apple TV, and it's working for me now. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Apple TV/Spectrum Cloud DVR Question Posted: 12 Jan 2021 09:42 AM PST I switched to Spectrum for the Fox Sports Regionals. I like to time shift sports viewing by starting a game 40 minutes to an hour late and then catching up by the end. On the Xbox app the Cloud DVR works poorly and the only way I've been able to get this to work at all so far has been through a browser plugged into the TV. If Apple TV works well I'm find putting out the money for it but I want to know if it works well with Cloud DVR before I do it. [link] [comments]  | ||

I've never had a streaming box before (always just had live channels come through on my Virgin Media Box from my previous contract). I'm now wondering how to watch live tv channels? My dad who lives with me loves watching news channels and we used to have quite a few different news channels but I can't seem to access any channels at all except through apps such as BBC iPlayer?
