    Hello, is anyone else having stutters on ios 14.4? I am running a iphone 12 pro and have been having stutters when exiting and switching between applications for the past couple updates.

    IOS 14.4 battery drain on idle

    Getting around 5-6% battery drain overnight on iPhone 12 Pro Max. This happened on IOS14.3 as well. Anyone having same issue? Is this normal battery drain?

    Can I verify my identity successfully and get access to my iCloud and all data previously backed up even if I no longer have access to the trusted phone number linked to my Apple ID?

    My first iPhone (iPhone 7 plus) was issued by my company as part of a corporate mobile plan. In Dec my company decided to migrate to a different company / service provider, and they gave us 30 days to file our applications before they permanently disconnect our numbers. While all of this was happening I got a new iPhone 12, transferred my old corporate plan sim into the new iPhone's sim slot, and gave away my iPhone 7+ to my brother. My old company number was eventually disconnected last week while my application to the new service provider was still pending. Which was fine as I didn't really need to call or text anyone.

    Until last night when I decided to back up my data and reset my new iphone. Wanting to restore my data from my most recent iCloud Backup, I put in my Apple ID and password, BUT I was also asked to enter a verification code which was being sent to my OLD / disconnected phone number. I did NOT think abt updating the phone number associated with my Apple ID (since I didn't have my new number yet and my personal number was on a different/Android device). I was being asked to get the code via text or call which obviously won't work since that number is no longer active/connected. I chose the Forgot my Apple ID / Password option and was led through account recovery options, none of which worked initially, until I had to verify my identity by keying in the details of the credit card I used for previous App store purchases. That seemed to work and then I was asked to put in a different phone number to where a verification would be sent, so I put in the one on my Android phone and received a verification code. The next message I go said I would hear back in 24 hours. Will they send me an update via my personal phone number (Android)? I tried accessing my iCloud mail on a browser but same thing, I was being asked for a verification code... guess I'll have to wait.

    It hasn't been 24 hrs yet but I'm really nervous because I have so much important data on my iCloud and I can't bear to lose them all! If any of you have experienced this, could you let me know if I will be able to get access to my iCloud? Also best practices / tips will also be appreciated. Thanks!

    When I try to update an app, it tells me to sign in with my Apple ID but it only gives me the option to enter my password. When I enter my password, it claims my Apple ID OR password is incorrect. I changed my password so my password isn’t wrong.

    Iphone 12 mini Standby issue

    My iPhone 12 mini is using 10% per hour when I'm asleep with no apps playing. This seems to match or exceed my screen on time which seems crazy to me. Everyday I wake up to a nearly dead phone. I have checked the battery app and the only thing I can see using any power at all is YouTube. Does anyone know a fix? This is making an otherwise great phone worthless.

    Mail app not syncing over cellular?

    Hi all-since I updated to ios14 my stock mail app with a gmail account (pop) won't sync over cellular. It's gives me a message saying that it can't update because the password is incorrect. The Gmail app itself will work over cellular data. I checked the settings and cellular is enabled for the mail app. When I turn on WiFi and connect the mail app syncs fine. Any tips to fix this? TIA

    Does installing so many apps (without notifications & app background refresh enabled) slow down my iphone?

    Like the title: I installed about 100 apps on my iPhone but I don't let them send notifications and also turn off app background refresh because they are just photo, video editor, or one-time used apps. I found my phone somewhat slower recently but I think those idle apps are not the reason but my phone's hardware like the battery for example. Am I right?

    By the way, is there any else that I can turn off to save battery and make my phone faster a bit?

    Hi,my bedroom is underground, i have i very low cell coverage in it. I have a severe battery drain if i am not in airplane mode. I also have a HomePod mini and i like the fonctunality that allows you to transfer the music when you're close to it. I can't use this fonction with my iPhone 12 if I am on airplane mode :(( Does someone have a suggestion ? GSM antennas are too expensive 😭

    Just a question about purchasing subscriptions through Apple

    There is a streaming site I want to join, only problem is you have to use your card and not Paypal. On the app, you can subscribe through apple. If I do this, the streaming site will not get my card will they? I really want to buy a subscription but once you add your card you can't remove it which is why I want to use it through apple

    Why isn't Siri recognizing my parents?

    Ok, the weird thing is that she recognizes my dad when I say "call dad" or "call my dad", but when I ask " call mom" or "call my mom" she tells me she couldn't find "mom" in my contacts, then if I say "moms name is my mom" she says "I already knew that...". I've tried deleting her contact and then made sure it's an icloud contact as I saw some ppl on some forums say siri doesn't recognize exchange contacts, which didn't work and would've been bs anyway since she is able to call my dad. After this I gave her the phonetic first name "mom" which has worked before, no luck. Tried going on my own contact, which is the only icloud contact on my contact list, and re-enter her as my mom manually in the relations tab, no luck. That one is weird because that was the first thing I did with my dad, which has always been an exchange contact, and it worked first time. now I'm at the stage where I have no idea what to do, please help. all this trouble was done on an iphone 6s on IOS 14.4

    Hello

    Since the update my iPhone 11 to iOS 14.4 my iPhone start using location service for Find My iPhone always.

    seems like every other time I pickup my phone I see the little symbol in the top corner and I check privacy settings and sure enough it's always Find My iPhone using my location, (have a arrow icon in purple).

    It drains my battery. how I can fix this problem?

    BB Android to iPH ... Whatsapp lost and not found...

    Migrating to iPH12 from BlackBerry Android.

    Used iOS mover for texts and media which took little less than 24 hours and hope all data has actually moved.

    WhatsApp in BB has been backed up at google drive but while restoring it to iPH , after verifying the mobile number; the only option it shows is restoration from iCloud.

    Since I havent had any backups at icloud its doesnt let me restore. Thankfully could put WhatsApp back on my BB for now....

    But am stuck up with aim in iph and WhatsApp in BB

    Is there any other app which would allow to restore whatsapp backup to iph without any loss of chats history and or media.

    ‘Add to home screen’ option only appearing on some apps?

    I had a very minimalist Home Screen but I wanted to add a load more apps to my 2nd page. All fine with about half of them. I opened the app drawer, long pressed, selected 'add to home screen' but weirdly with a large number of apps this option just doesn't come up? Is it a bug?

    Some of the apps which it doesn't work for are: - Discogs - The Guardian - BBC iPlayer

    I'm sure there are plenty more but these are the first 3 I've found. Surely I should be able to add any app I want to my Home Screen?

    I'm on an iPhone XS Max running iOS 14.4

    TIL that the Receipt emoji on the iPhone reads the words “misfits”, “square pegs” and “round holes” on it (Think Different reference). Plus the date (July 17) is the same as iCal announcement’s (anyone remember iCal?)!

    Hello, my father has set up app sharing for my family. I am aware I can now see what each family member downloads. In my purchases if I hold down on one a hide button appears. Does this just hide it from me or will it hide it from other members in my app sharing family group? Thank you.

    I was playing a game and while i got a reward, the game froze and I had to restart it. After that I had the reward 2x. Is there a way I can force a freeze to replicate that glitch?

    ‘Reminders’ auto date/time not working?

    I have just upgraded from my iPhone 11 to a 12 Max Pro and have noticed that the Reminders App no longer auto sets the date a want to be reminded on when I type the day or time.

    For example, I would create a new reminder: "Book eye test Friday" the word 'Friday' would highlight in blue, to which I would tap it and the remember would be set for the forthcoming Friday.

    This no longer happens on my new 12 Pro Max for some strange reason

    Anyone know why?
