I just found out that you can have a little Apple logo on your Apple Watch and just had to share it. (It’s in the comments if you want this on your watch)

    So close, yet so... close?

When using Sleep on iPhone and AW is on charging puck, the AW screen will light up for a few minutes prior to wake up time gently raising your awakeness prior to the alarm going off!

Pretty clever use of the Apple Watch which is presumed to be on a nightstand next to your bed. By increasing light levels in the room prior to your alarm going off it is thought it helps decrease your depth of sleep so that the alarm going off is more likely to wake you but be less of a surprise to your body when it does so! Anybody else notice?

Does the Apple Watch support Google Pay?

    Posted: 19 Nov 2020 12:44 AM PST

Hello - I'm looking at buying a series 6, but don't want to move all my payment details over from Google, so was curious if it supports the Google Pay app? :)

First AppleWatch: Does the metal clasp on the Sport Band (Nike or Regular) rub on the wrist pad on your laptop?

    Posted: 19 Nov 2020 08:06 AM PST

As the title says: I'm ordering my first AppleWatch today, and because it's basically impossible to get an appointment in a store - I can't really try on all the bands.

My Watch will be daily wear, and I work at a brewery. My hands are always wet, and my other primary motivating factor for getting the watch is athletics - so for those reasons I'm leaning strongly towards a Sport Band. The perforations in the Nike version and a bit of style, so that's my first choice.

The big question, however, is will the metal clasp/pin on the small of the wrist scrape on my MBP wrist pad? This is a big point of irritation for me - to the point that I frequently take off (metal bracelet) watches when typing or doing any meaningful amount of work on my laptop.

Can anyone comment or provide feedback? Thanks!

(And yes, I would consider the Solo Loop - but I've read too much about sizing issues and since I can't try them on in store, the issue is kinda parked.)
