What if they're going with 2 Apple TV models? I'm new to OLED TVs and was wondering what the best settings for the Apple TV would be with an OLED. What's the difference between 4K and the Dolby Digital option on the Apple TV. | HOW TO UNPAIR IPHONE FROM APPLETV PERMANENTLY? Posted: 20 Nov 2020 05:02 PM PST [SOLVED] Go to Settings > Control Center > under "Included Controls" delete "Apple TV Remote". Still not sure if it's permanent but it doesn't show the ATV Airplaying in the control center. I helped my mom with her APPLETV and the remote died so I used my phone to help her watch a YouTube video. Finally I connected her phone to it so she can use her iPhone as a remote and mine is still linked. YES—I went to Settings and unpaired my device and I checked again and it's still showing up in my control panel that it's connected and playing and I can still pause and play and all that from my room. It's quite annoying and I feel it's going to drain my battery to fuck. Anyway to solve this? I've already...

| BBC iPlayer constant buffering Posted: 20 Nov 2020 03:10 PM PST Ok, I am at my wits end. My iPlayer constantly pauses and buffers. It will play a few seconds then buffer again. It is much worse in the late evening. I have 1Gbs fiber network getting approx 400Mbs via wifi. No difference Ethernet or Wifi. It will play fine via airplay from iPhone/iPad, but is constant struggle through app on AppleTV. Anyone got an ideas? Tips? It is not isolated to one device either, we have 5 apple TVs and all do the same thing. I have lowered the resolution to 720 to try and reduce bandwidth, but still buffers. | Swipe down isn’t revealing the info panel Posted: 20 Nov 2020 08:48 AM PST I need a little help. I'm trying to swipe down on the Apple TV remote to reveal the info panel and it's not working. Also when I hold down the pause/play button on the Apple TV remote nothing happens. I'm trying to easily play the Apple TV audio via AirPlay to a pair of HomePod mini speakers and neither Audio shortcut is working from the Apple TV remote. Am I doing something wrong? | AppleTV with AirPlay amp (Hegel) cuts out Posted: 20 Nov 2020 11:05 AM PST I used to be able to select my amp, Hegel H90 as the audio output for my AppleTV using AirPlay, however recently when i select it, the video stops for a second, i assume while the amp and video get into sync, then I get one second of audio, then the video carries on, my amp still displays its 'connected' to AirPlay but no actual audio comes out. If i try reconnect the exact same thing happens.. any ideas? [link] [comments]  | ||

I just got gig fiber installed yesterday and they hadn't buried the cable outside and my dumb self tripped over it and knocked out our service and they won't be out until later in the afternoon for repair.
