At this point I don’t see why apple doesn’t ship iOS 15 with a theme store. They could take a 15-30% cut just like the App Store. They’ve basically given in to themes at this point why not fully allow it? No widget labels and “changeable” icons.

Looking for a good camera app that has a night mode for my iPhone SE 2020

    Posted: 21 Nov 2020 07:52 AM PST

I came across NeuralCam Night Mode app that provides night mode capabilities on my iPhone SE 2020 which does not have a dedicated night mode. Anyone here used it? How is it?

Are there other apps that leverage the power of neural networks or AI/ML to make night photography possible?

IOS 14.2 bug in Safari - search/text box blocked

    Posted: 21 Nov 2020 07:15 AM PST

A maddening new bug in Safari for iOS 14.2: when you tap on a search or text entry box to enter text, a grey bar with the word "Done" with up and down arrows appears to block it. It's happening across all sites including Reddit.

There should be a way of dismissing warnings for weak passwords on the password manager

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 05:36 PM PST

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one bothered by this. My college gives me both a G Suite account and Office 365, but both use the same password. Apple warns me that I'm using duplicate passwords and I can't dismiss the warning, neither can I do something about it, because both accounts are managed by my college and that's how they work. Also, I have an account of a streaming service provided by my carrier. The password is weak because they don't allow me to create a stronger one, so I can't do anything about either.

[Release] A web app that allows theming iOS icons in one fell swoop. Optimized for Desktop and Mobile. For iOS 14.3+, system apps launch immediately. Batch uploads also supported.

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 09:12 AM PST

A few days ago I posted a standalone app to create mobileconfig files that theme apps. It got a bit of attention... and well I've decided to turn it into a web app. iOSTheme.live is up and running. Supports iOS 14.3+ instant launch of system apps, custom applications, and batch uploading! Optimized for both mobile and desktop. Supports jailbreak batch uploading where the file names are the bundleIds!

It's my first public release, so please let me know, via email or github link at the bottom of the page of any bugs encountered. Or feature requests!

I have never and will never charge for my stuff, but you can buy me a beer at the bottom of that site :)
