Posted: 26 Oct 2020 08:33 AM PDT I'm trying to research, but I'm getting mixed results. Does the S3 aluminum watch (rose gold if it matters) have nickel in it? What about the sports band it comes with? I've always had this issue (had the watch for 2 years), but today's it's particularly bad. It feels almost like a burn. There's a bright red circle where the sensor on my watch lays, and it's so itchy and painful. I know I'm allergic to nickel, but I'm having trouble figuring out if the S3 contains it or not. Apple Watch SE dies at least once a day - anyone else had this problem and resolved it? Posted: 25 Oct 2020 10:32 PM PDT Here's how things typically go with my watch: While I'm watching evening TV, I let the watch fully charge before bed (since these new models track sleep). In the morning, if I have an early call (usually 6am-8am), I pop in on the charger, just to make sure I can maximize a full charge through the day. I'm noticing, darn near daily at this point, that I'll lift to check my watch at around 2 or 3 in the afternoon and the watch is completely dead. Like no 10% warning. It just won't turn on until I pop it on the charger. I haven't been that active since these new watches come out. I'm usually sitting from 6am-12pm or 1pm, I'll make some lunch, maybe run an errand, and then I'm doing very light movement (house cleaning, plant care, etc). So, there's no reason the battery should be this bad. There was a software update a couple of weeks ago that said it addressed battery issues. I was hoping that would resolve it, but that hasn't happened. My next step is reaching out to Apple, but wait times have been long, so I thought I'd see if anyone here had a similar problem and figured it out. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Oct 2020 02:05 AM PDT My country does not support eSim for Apple Watch but only for iPhone (how ?!). I can see online that there are some "international eSim" plans, which seems like a scam. Is there an option to get eSim in a country that do not support it ? For instance Google Fi ? Apple Watch no longer unlocks computer after new phone Posted: 26 Oct 2020 07:30 AM PDT Hello! I was fortunate enough to upgrade my X to as 12 pro yesterday and have run into a few issues along the way. First, I was unable to 'restore from backup' on my 12 since I had been running the beta on my X. No problem, I was happy to set up the phone as new. I realized I had to un-pair and then re-pair the watch from my last phone to the new one and since then, I can no longer unlock my MBP with the watch. I get the following error: "Your Mac was unable to communicate with your Apple Watch. Make sure your Apple Watch is unlocked and on wrist, and your iPhone is unlocked." But, even in restarting computer, phone and watch – trying over and over – same error. Has anyone else had an issue like this? Any ideas on how to troubleshoot? [link] [comments]

First Apple Watch! But some issues... Posted: 26 Oct 2020 07:21 AM PDT Hi, I have just bought the new Apple Watch SE. I'm excited and tried out a few things yesterday when I received it and I already have some issues. I don't know if they're my watch specific or a global issue. - I can't view images/stickers/gifs in any text-based apps like messenger, telegram, etc. - iMessages/SMS won't sync with my iPhone. For example, I delete messages on my iPhone but they still are there in Watch. - Similar to iMessage/SMS, photos don't sync even though I have selected my album to sync in the Watch app on iPhone - No Gmail and notes app? - My music, both in Spotify and Apple Music on Apple Watch, skips to the next track in the playlist randomly after 50% of the music has been played. I suspect this has something to do with any loud noise if occurs or any vibration or tap on the table or on the ground with my foot. Those are the patterns I found so I'm not sure about the reason for this behavior. - No Apple Watch screen guard/protector? We have iPhone screen guards to protect the screen but not for Apple Watch? I can't find a single third party screen guard and Apple doesn't make either. It's a huge need for me. For example, I was riding my bike with my Watch for the first time today and it collected so much dust on the screen just from the air (yeah trump said right about filthy air of...) and I'm really afraid of any scratches it might get as the population is so much here that I afraid wearing it outside, anyone can bump into shoulders in markets/downtown or malls. - I showered second time with my Apple Watch today and after using the water lock to throw out the water from the speakers... well it didn't. Water was still inside one of the speakers. Mind you I didn't actually keep the water below the shower. I let water fall on my skin which then got splashed on the watch. So not a direct impact (yeah afraid about screen with no screen guard) but anyways, shouldn't turning the digital crown throw all water out? I saw the slomo guys on YouTube and it seems water gets stuck inside is a global thing. What do you guys do for that? I blew air with my mouth and dried it up that way. Also, how do I get a flair beside my name that I have an Apple Watch SE? If any other issue comes, I'll update the post or leave em in the comments. Thanks, guys! [link] [comments]
