How is the adblocker experience on ios?

    Posted: 05 Sep 2020 03:25 AM PDT

I'm considering switching to iOS since samsung keeps snubbing my country by shipping phones with the underperforming exynos. One thing that matters a lot to me is a proper, distraction-free, browsing experince which I can easily do on Android thanks to the Firefox plugin ecosystem.

On iOS, how's the performance of things like adguard? Do you still see ads?

    Posted: 04 Sep 2020 12:17 PM PDT

Hey, I'm the co-creator of a live streaming mobile app called Winya.

Winya is an iOS app that allows anyone to stream content to Twitch with just a couple of taps for free. There are subscription plans included as well.

    Winya is packed with features;
    - Unlimited high-quality streaming
    - Extensive audio and video streaming quality controls
    - Frame rate control
    - Watermark removal
    - Zero ads
    - Many more to come

We also have plans for adding multi-platform stream feature in the upcoming versions. This means you can stream simultaneously to Twitch, Youtube, Facebook, and other platforms as we add support to it.

We are an ambitious bootstrapped startup and it would be so kind of you, if you support us by using our app for streaming games or any content.

    Winya AppStore link - https://apps.apple.com/app/id1504093464

Please let us know your opinion and suggestions about the app.

Feel free to hit me up for promo codes for Winya+ subscription, we wanna support all mobile streamers.

Face ID on iPhone 12 must work with masks on!

    Posted: 04 Sep 2020 11:39 PM PDT

We all expect apple to improve face ID this year drastically as it has been more or less same since 3 generations now. We saw during WWDC apple introduced some features to watchOS that were pandemic focused like washing hands alert on apple watch. Same with iOS 13.5~ when the iPhone takes you straight to the passcode screen when it detects a face mask. Some users on Reddit reported their iPhone works with the mask on, who knows? Also, Marketing this years iPhone will be hard if it doesn't work with masks. What will they say about face ID? All the improvements will seem useless if it couldn't unlock with a mask on. What are your thoughts?
