Apple Working on New Apple TV With Faster Processor and Remote Equipped With Find My
ATV doesn’t look as good as TCL (Roku) TV
When I turn on my Apple TV, the TV will start to turn on but then turn off before it reaches the home screen?
4K Apple TV audio is cutting out on some apps but not all. Hulu, iTune movies and CW app cut out. Vudu and Disney plus are fine. I played the same movie on iTunes and Vudu. The movie is fine on Vudu but audio cuts out with iTunes

Bluetooth shortcut (press and hold the play/pause button) is no longer there for me.

Hi guys, I posted a few days ago about my new TCL QLED TV not looking as good when playing shows from apps such as Netflix from my Apple TV compared to the built in apps from Roku.

I got some good feedback in regards to enabling content matching/frame rate matching and thought it did the trick... but I'm still having issues. I even tried switching it to 4K SDR but thought it didn't look as good as 4K Dolby. When I watch on my Apple TV it looks... good. To the average person, they would say it looks normal. When I watch from Roku TV (built in) everything looks crystal clear. It's brighter, movements are faster, it almost feels like you're looking right at the show being filmed on set. Night and day difference.

Is there anything else I'm missing here or am I truly not going to get what I want from the Apple TV?

It'll work if I spam the menu button on the remote, I guess it doesn't give it a chance to not respond lol

8Bitdo SF30 gamepad on Apple TV 4K

Note: Sorry if these are old news, tried to search for this but I only came across an archived post (where the answer was No).

Just to let everyone know that I was able to successfully connect my 8Bitdo SF30 gamepad to my ATV 4K. The pairing process is pretty straightforward:

Turn it on in macOS mode: Start + A buttons
Start the pairing by holding the button next to the USB-C charging port for about 2 seconds.
On your ATV, navigate to Settings > Remotes and Devices > Bluetooth
The only funky thing is that it would show up as a PS4 Dualshock controller, no idea why. But once paired, you just turn it on in macOS mode and it will automatically connect.

I've updated my TV last night and since then, the shortcut for blowtorch settings (hold the pause button) no longer works. I would go through control center but it doesn't work with my harmony remote. Anyone have any fixes for either problems; a Bluetooth shortcut or how to get to the control center with a harmony remote.

AppletTV and Google Home

I would like to be able to do simple commands for my appletv from my google home (pause, resume, volume up, volume down). I can connect them via bluetooth, but when I resume the video, it automatically changes the audio output to the google home. Does anyone have any solutions for how to do this without the audio output changing?
