[IDEA] who thinks we should have an option to automate different Home Screen for different days or time of day. Like the shortcuts automation for the Apple Watch face but for your iPhone.
Everyone is talking about Widgetsmith but I think the Windgeridoo app is much better. Widgeridoo is the only app I know where you can combine multiple widgets into one. It gives me the overview of multiple data in one widget and saves space in my home screen.

Found this bug in iOS 14.0.1 . Device iPhone 6s. The quick suggestion bar doesn’t show up when I scroll down my Home Screen.
Default browser/search engine
Looking at how popular custom icons have became, do you think Apple will add themes or at least custom icon packs support? As much as I love being able to customise my homescreen without jailbreak, it feels clunky and I miss notification badges
TIL if you press the pages row on your homescreen and swipe, you can scroll through your homescreen pages.

iOS 14.0.1 draining battery

Updated from iOS 13.7 to iOS 14.0 and the battery was damn strong later received another update 14.0.1 and the battery started draining ... After researching a bit found the culprit being apple maps which is running in the background even though I don't use apple maps ... weird, if you have strong battery on iOS 14 don't update to 14.0.1

Get out of Emoji Search Quickly!

It took me far longer to sus this out than I expedited... If you are in the iOS 14 emoji search and want to jump back to the standard typing keyboard, just press on the 'iMessage' text input area. It jumps straight back to typing, whether you have picked an emoji or not.

Default browser/search engine

FYI- Safari default search engine seems to trump what you set in another browser, even if it isn't default. I have Chrome set as default with Google as my default engine. Every time I search from spotlight, it opens up Chrome, but with Duck Duck Go which is what my default engine is in Safari. Changed to Google in Safari settings, and Chrome opens with Google as it should.
