- Has anyone else noticed that the tvOS 14 update boosted quality like 1000%???!!?!?! Is it just me? Sound seems much cleaner, and the picture is so much better, and not fuzzy at all!
- Noob question... Would you recommend to purchase Plex pass if I’m using a Synology DS720+ (with Plex Server installed in Docker) plus an Apple TV 4K with Infuse 6 pro (lifetime)?
- Is it an hdmi problem? Apple tv 3rd gen. Only these signs of life on monitor. On tv no signs of life just white light. Tried reseting

I'm told on the shield 2019 they all play correctly. I also have infuse and I can't get any of the SL DV stuff to play with the DV settings kicking in (they all seem to play in HDR) Does anyone have experience getting the SL DV stuff to play correctly with the DV settings kicking in on the Apple TV 4K. | Posted: 27 Sep 2020 03:41 AM PDT I use the remote app on my iphone. Now try this: while connected to your Atv, kill the Remote app, start it and increase/decrease the volume. That works well. But now try and open any other app - when you go back to the Remote app you can't control the Atv volume any longer. Is it just me? Is that a TvOs bug or an IOS bug? Thanks in advance. Posted: 26 Sep 2020 03:52 PM PDT There used to be a remote shortcut (hold pause/play) that took us straight to the Bluetooth pop up window. Anyone know any other alternatives?? I use a Harmony remote that can't access the control center... I would use that but there's no way to get to the control center without pulling out the remote app from my phone. It's doable but it's just inconvenient. Note: it's not a problem with my harmony remote as the shortcut doesn't even work with the app anymore. Must've been ditched in TVos 14... | Posted: 26 Sep 2020 04:56 PM PDT I've checked two different ATV 4ks connected to 2 different 4k displays (LG OLED and Asus 4k monitor) and neither are showing the 4k category in Computer -> "my library" -> 4k. I've went to titles purchased from iTunes and digital copies that were all available in 4k, but all show HD. All are updated to tvOS 14.0.1. I can't find much information online about this current problem. 4k appears to working through Disney+ and Netflix. Is anyone else running into this issue? [link] [comments]  | ||

So say for example if there's a program on and they're speaking a different language it'll bring up the subtitles to bring them back to English. Wondering if there's a way to get my Apple TV to speak these out to me? I've tried the obvious one of voiceover which didn't work. I'm finding things online how to turn on subtitles if you're deaf, but I'm not. I don't want or need any subtitles on, I just need the ones that are there, when someone is speaking a different language, to be read out as if they were speaking English. I have my Apple TV hooked up to my denon 2200w receiver which is DV capable and then that is connected to my lg Cx tv. When I enable and test DV on the Apple TV it's all good. I get the indicator in the upper right. But I don't get the indicator each time I start to play DV content. On my other lg where I have the Apple TV connected directly to the tv I get the indicator every time I start DV content. The LG that's hooked up to the receiver is showing Dolby vision picture mode so I'm pretty sure it's working but I was just wondering if it's possible to have DV enable and working but have the content not play in DV for some reason. | How to get Music app to play in stereo. Posted: 26 Sep 2020 08:51 AM PDT I've been searching and I can't quite find an answer. I read that the Music app is supposed to play in stereo, but mine is not. The Apple TV HDMI is plugged directly into the AVR. My AVR is reading "MCh Stereo" and playing through all speakers as if it was set to "All Zone Stereo" but it is not. I've dived through the settings on both the Apple TV, the AVR, the TV and couldn't find anything that will make it play in stereo. Using airplay with the AVR works as it should playing in stereo.
