    Hey,

    Could you please share with me regular battery life time of your apple pencils? (2gen). Mine is only 1 week old and with pretty hard work (continuous painting with Procreate) it last only about 70 minutes :/ it seems pretty short. Is it normal or I should go to Apple store with my pencil?

    If the rumors are true and new iPads are released in a few weeks, what will the price drop be for the current iPad 10.2s?

    I'm a student interested in purchasing an iPad 10.2 for taking class notes, annotating lectures, and highlighting PDFs.

    Although I would like to purchase an iPad as soon as possible so I can begin using it in my classes, I'm not sure if I should wait until the prices drop with the release of new iPads. Right now, I plan on purchasing an iPad 10.2 for $279 on Walmart.

    Would it be worth it to wait for a potential discount when the new iPads are released?

    Problem with connecting SSD to iPad Pro 11” 2020

    I have a Lexar 1 TB SSD (LSL100P-1TRB) The first time i plugged it in my iPad pro it worked great. My ipad immediately recognized it and it showed up in the Files app. Imported some photos in LR, browsed some files for a bit, etc. then removed it. But when i plugged it in the second time my ipad doesn't recognize it, won't even show up in the Files app. I tried plugging it on my laptop and a notification appears "There's a problem with this drive" i clicked scan and repair and it was successful. When I plugged it again on my ipad it worked normally again, then i unplugged it and when i plugged it back in, the same thing happens, my ipad can't recognize it again. Btw, it is in exFAT file system. Does anyone know what's causing this? I'm frustrated right now.

    It seems everytime i plug the SSD into the iPad it causes it to have a "There's a problem with this drive" message with Windows.

    Apple pencil 1 vs 2: did it truly evolve?

    Seriously, besides the mat finish, the magnetic charging and the double tap, how much better is the 2nd Gen apple pencil over its predecessor when it comes to drawing? is there truly a remarkable difference in performance?

    Pro 12.8 from 2018.

    The center of the screen heats up like crazy, to the point of visibly altering the lighting (brighter and darker spots appear). The iPad heating up also drains battery much faster.

    Has anyone had that issue ?

    I contacted them and they told to me to plug the iPad overnights and leave Notability open (not sure if the screen is supposed to be ON).

    Looking for a keyboard app with clipboard manager

    Title says it all really, I have an android phone and use Microsoft SwiftKey there but I love the clipboard manager, and I was wondering if there's an app with similar functionality for iPad.

    How do I use Mac as second display for iPad(ProCreate)?

    I'm attempting to use my iMac as a secondary display for ProCreate but all the tutorials I find I've attempted and failed. For airplay it only gives me the option to display my Mac screen on iPad and for via my USB-C cable plugged in it only charged my iPad, are there any solutions for this?

    I absolutely love Morning. I've done a bit of research but can't find a great customizable dashboard application for my Pro that comes anywhere as close to Morning, but I want a bit more control.

    Does anyone have suggestions?

    Interesting: Apple Pencil 2 has been skipping in the middle of my screen “dead zone”lately, I purchased a brand new pencil thinking it was my old one and I’m still having the same issue BUT when I remove the pencil and use my finger in the SAME AREA it works perfectly fine??

    So i started school this past week and started using my Apple Pencil 2 again. Using goodnotes to take notes I noticed that when i was about 1/2 down the screen i would hit a "dead zone" where the pencil Input would "skip" and not be recognized by the ipad. It was only this 1/2 " area whereas the rest of the screen worked great.

    I thought it was my Apple Pencil so I purchased a brand new one thinking that would fix the issue and it didn't....Still having the same issue.

    So i rest, removed and restarted the ipad and the issue is still present. Bummer.

    BUT then I decided to try my finger in the same area and suddenly it works...same area and all..

    My finger works in the "dead zone" but my brand new Apple Pencil 2 does not...

    So its not the screen like i originally thought its the pencil right? Well no, because the issue is relevant with my old one and new one..

    So whaat the hell is going on???

    I'm on the latest ipad OS

    PS: i have a 2018 iPad Pro 12.9" for reference

    PSS: this happens on all note/drawing apps (Apple notes, Good Notes, pro create, etc)

    PSSS: someone mentioned an apple thread regarding this issue, i read it and its useless FYI.

    How do I create space in Notability?

    I've written like walls of text and I want to add a section in between.

    I don't wanna insert additional pages cuz I often don't stop writing at page breaks so it'll disrupts the flow, even if I do I might not use an entire page and I don't wanna leave blank space.

    Is there way to push down entire sections below? Like in Apple Notes.

    Or is there way to create space? Id use stickies but they're transparent and I can't make out anything, or they hide stuff under them if I hide.

    PS- if there's no way then please suggest alternatives to Notability (cuz it's kinda useless to me without such features) which would let me do that and also allow me to transfer notes from Notability.

    Clean dish soap off of ipad

    My father believes he is smarter than most people. Which is why it perplexes me that he thought putting an iPad and a MASON JAR of dish soap in the same bag would end Well. My iPad Pro and Apple Pencil are completely coated in dish soap. They work fine but feel slick to the touch, and the apple Logo has refraction on it. How do I clean it before the soap Damages the finish?
