Posted: 31 Jul 2020 02:14 PM PDT I charged my phone overnight but it only charged up to 98%. I have iOS 13.6 and turned on Optimized Battery Charging and Low Power Mode. My battery health is at 87%. Every night, my settings are the same and my phone fully charges. So how come tonight was different? My outlet is fine, as the other phone connected to it charged to a 100%. Additional info: My X has been having the black loading screen lately. For example, when I'm using an app (any app), it'd suddenly turn black with the spinning wheel for a second, then go to lock screen. It doesn't turn off though. Everything would be normal after that. No idea if that's related to my battery problem. Help pls! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Jul 2020 12:36 PM PDT Do only the newer phones have serial id of the airpods showing in the about settings. My iPhone X doesn't show me the serial id for my airpods in the about menu. Is there any way to get it? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Jul 2020 11:12 AM PDT (english isn't my native language) In April while in quarantine, I started using the pool we have at our house. My boyfriend (xiaomi user) told me the iphone X was water resistant and I knew that but I had always been too afraid of using it under water. After a few days of using it while being in the pool, and getting drops and my fingers wet, nothing happened. But one really really hot day, the phone shut down and said it had to cool down before I could be able to use it. As I saw this, I thought it would be a good idea (no) to sumerge it for like two seconds so the temperature could go down. I did this, and it was working but after like 2 or 3 minutes, it started being slow and then it went completely off. I turned it on but the only thing that appeared was the apple. I then charged it and left it for like maybe 2 hours, then I started really panicking because it just wouldn't turn back on. I put it in rice for like 24 or more hours, then the "charge device" thing appeared but when I started charging it nothing happened, the apple appeared again but nothing else changed. The next day a green line appeared on the right side of the screen, but the apple was still the only thing you could see. Then I honestly just gave up on it and bought a Xiaomi. Since every place I could take it for repair was closed because of Covid I bought another phone but I miss my iphone a looot :( Could anybody tell me if it's worth taking it after all these months for reparations? Has anything like this ever happened to someone here? :( [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Jul 2020 02:35 AM PDT Hey guys so i was checking used iphones on a website particularly iphone x, xr, xs, xs max and i saw many phones where face id wasn't working so i wonder it's their usage like that, water damage or something or it's like "when time passes things stop working" type of thing? Personally i've been using iphone x since 1.5 years now and i have never faced any single problem nor related to face id. I was just curious to know considering the amount of people whose face id not working. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Jul 2020 10:49 PM PDT Hello this is my first post so forgive me if I say something wrong. I just dropped my iphone X into the toilet and fished it out almost immediately, then turned it off. I followed some advice and put it in rice for now. I'm planning to put it under a fan tomorrow when I'm at work, but right now I don't have a fan to use. Any suggestion for what I can do to save it? Thank you [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Jul 2020 12:56 AM PDT I know there is a difference between shooting on 30fps versus 60fps. (60 fps needs more light) But what about the same framerate and different resolutions? Is there any downsides shooting on 4K instead of 1080P except the storage? [link] [comments] |
