    [Update] YouTube Reborn v1.0.4.0 - Fixed Disable Age Restriction, Fixed iPad Style Keyboard/Status Bar And Attempt To Fix Videos Not Loading For Some People (Details In Post About This)

    Hello, today I have released a new update to YouTube Reborn that fixes 2 major issues with the certain options and an attempt at fixing another issue (explained below). It is free and contain no additional ads.

    Fixes That 1.0.4.0 Brought:

    - Fixed Disable Age Restriction

    - Fixed the keyboard and status bar in "Enable iPad Style on iPhone"

    - Attempt to fix videos on not loading with "No Video Ads" on the latest YouTube version for some people (more details below)

    To explain more about the videos not loading issue, it appears that in the latest YouTube update, yt appears to have broke there api response calls for "do videos have ads" (and other things that aren't noticeable from a users end) and its causing this issue for some people (This has happened before, its not the first time they have broke it). In this release, I have tried to fix it but no idea if it will work because I don't have this issue, if the fix doesn't work, you will either have to downgrade YouTube to 15.26 or wait for YouTube to release an update to fix it, sorry.

    Creating your own Odyssey themes:

    Prerequisites: Aphrodite - https://joey-gm.github.io/ Filza - BigBoss/TIGI Software

    Instructions:

    1. Install Odyssey IPA to your device either via AltStore or ReProvision.
    2. Open Aphrodite, click Show All in App Asset Catalogs, and open the Odyssey catalog.
    3. Scroll to the Image section and replace your desired theme wallpaper.
    4. Recompile the Asset Catalog for Odyssey in Aphrodite.
    5. Navigate to /var/mobile/Documents/Aphrodite/App-Odyssey/ in Filza and copy the Assets.car file.
    6. Open the installation directory for Odyssey in Filza, and replace the Assets Catalog.
    7. Once replaced, it is advised to resign Odyssey via ReProvision or AltStore.

    Frequent Questions:

    Where is the Odyssey installation directory? /var/containers/Bundle/Application/*/Odyssey.app/Assets.car I can't find Odyssey in Aphrodite. Reinstall Aphrodite via your package manager and Odyssey via AltStore/ReProvision.

    (From Jules (not bypass) pinned in the Sileo discord) I had to copy Odyssey's .car to Sileo because Odyssey didn't show up… but…

    I feel like this is a metric that is important for some people, especially when trying to decide if a tweak is reputable or not, judging off of whether or not people have used it. Just a thought. What do you guys think?

    I have had a mini checkra1n setup on a BananaPi since sometime last year. I never got round to getting it setup easy for people to install if they have the hardware for it. The hardware is relatively cheap and easy to get hold of. It is by no means perfect but does the job.

    Required Hardware:

    Banana Pi M2 Zero (Requires header for LCD controller) - $20+

    Waveshare IPS 1.3" LCD 240x240 with controls - $15+

    Micro SD Card 8GB+ - $5+

    USB OTG Adapter & Lightning Cable - $5+

    USB power source

    Optional:

    Micro USB to Lightning Cable - $5

    Case (Raspberry Pi Zero cases will fit)

    The hardware is required and this will not work with a Raspberry Pi Zero as it cannot use checkra1n without issues.

    BananaPi Zero M2 has ample hardware to perform the functions. The Waveshare 1.3 LCD provides a good display alongside buttons to use for interface. There is the option of using a Micro USB to Lightning cable to have a small compact cable.

    Armbian offers a fully working lightweight linux image we can use to set this board up.

    Flash the Armbian Image to the SD Card using Balena Etcher: https://www.balena.io/etcher/

    Place SD Card inside BPi and plug into PC using USB Micro Cable with data connection. Make sure that the micro usb is plugged in the 2nd port or the DATA port on the BPi. If it is not plugged in the 2nd port no communication will be available.

    Make sure you have PuTTY: https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/latest.html

    Go to Devices & Printers and wait to see Pi USB to Serial and see COM port number. Open Putty select Serial & connect to COM# with 9600 BAUD.

    It may take some time for a connection but eventually you will get a prompt to login.

    Once in it will go through process of creating a user and setting passwords.

    Setup Network

    Wi-Fi on the BananaPi Zero is quite bad so needs to be close to the router. Once at root prompt run the armbian-config command to setup network. Press any key to skip the message about no network.

    Go to Network > WiFi then Connect to the WiFi network.

    Exit the configuration menu and run the following to confirm connectivity.

    ping google.com

    If response is retreived then Pi is now online. Press Ctrl + C to cancel the ping.

    Install Script

    Now run the following command to do the automated setup (make sure logged in as root):

    curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/neomatrix125/ra1nman/master/install.sh | sed 's/\r//g' | sh

    This will update and upgrade packages and install python modules, setup GPIO, libimobiledevice ,checkra1n and setup the Python UI interface to run on boot.

    Once finished the system will reboot and the interface will be ready to use.

    Button 1: Select | Button 2: Show option text | Button 3: Turn off Backlight

    [Request] Tweak that create icons on the home screen to run Activator commands

    Is it possible to create a tweak to generate icons/apps (option for more than one) on the home screen to run Activator commands? The icons do not need to do anything when selected. We can assign Actions within Activator itself when selected. The icons could be themed with other tweaks. With a limited number of physical triggers available within Activator this capability is obviously needed by more users than me. I am also aware of this capability but this technique is limited to just one occurrence.

    I remember there used to be unlimtones that was good for ringtones and think it had that feature. Also not sure the best way to get new alarm tones anymore. Even just letting me use the bedtime alarms in the regular alarms app would be nice but it doesn't let me select them outside bedtime app.

    Hello! I come here again to ask about a tweak in sure I saw the other day on a video... I remember that in the same video they talked about HiddenAlbumLock... But anyways, does anybody know the name of this tweak that allows you to add tags to photos and text like a short description of a photo?

    I'm desperately looking for it since I got a memory problem and I would like to use that tweak to be able to write down memories...

    [Request] How to spoof VoWifi/WiFi Calling

    Hi,

    Actually in France 🇫🇷 we have VoWifi/Free calling option on our iPhone with all the french carriers.but it only works in France. Would be awesome to use it overseas. How the phone/carrier knows I am not in France? Is there a way to spoof it and to be able to use this option overseas to avoid paying roaming cost ?? A Cydia tweak may exist ?
