This is a friendly reminder: read the Release Notes Posted: 30 Jul 2020 03:02 AM PDT I see the same questions every day regarding problems that are mentioned in the Releases Notes as a Known Issue, and every single time I have to say "It's in the Release Notes as a Known Issue" followed by a copy/paste from the Release Notes and a reminder of where to find the Release Notes. So, this is a friendly reminder to read the Release Notes. You can find the Release Notes in the Feedback app, or here: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/ios-ipados-release-notes/ios-ipados-14-beta-release-notes So when the next beta comes out, read the Release Notes. If you run into bugs, review the Release Notes to see if they are Known Issues. This is a part of the iOS beta testing process. Thank you. [link] [comments]

List of 3rd party widgets that work with iOS 14 beta? Posted: 30 Jul 2020 09:45 AM PDT Just looking to see if there are any apps with widgets you can currently place on the Home Screen yet while on the developer beta? Or are they all still limited to the far left screen? [link] [comments]
[Question] Any way to disable open-on-unlock feature of iOS 14 for fingerprint devices? Posted: 30 Jul 2020 07:58 AM PDT Edit — SOLVED by u/voting_bloc Accessibility > Home Button > Rest Finger to Open In prior versions of iOS on my iPhone 7 I got used to the following workflow:
But in iOS 14 it seems like as soon as the phone is unlocked with a fingerprint the lock screen is bypassed and the home screen opens. While it's impressive how quickly the new OS recognizes my fingerprint it's harshing my vibes! I know the workaround is to wake the phone with the lock button on the side before tapping the home button, but I'd really love to find a way to get my old workflow back. Any ideas? Am I the only one who thinks beta 3 is absolute garbage compared to beta 2? Posted: 30 Jul 2020 12:25 PM PDT Battery life is terrible on iPhone XS Max, on iPad pro 11" 2018 is abysmal. Apps crash like crazy both on iPhone and iPad. Widgets kind of work, but the weather widget doesn't refresh on the iPhone, and it's missing from the iPad os. App updates take a lot of time and the devices are getting super hot and slow down dramatically. [link] [comments]
