    TestFlight on Beta 3 currently prevents some 3rd party home screen widgets from showing up

    Yesterday, I shared about my progress of the widgets I am working on for one of my apps - Unwind.

    After releasing the update on TestFlight, I realized that most of my users weren't seeing the widgets in the Edit menu. After researching quite a bit, I saw that some of the other devs are facing the same issue as well.

    So as of now, apps installed via TestFlight on Beta 3 won't show the widgets in most cases. Nobody knows why this is happening as the widgets were showing up perfectly fine on Beta 2. There's currently no response from Apple regarding the same.

    I'll keep you posted with new findings about this issue.

    I’ve been playing with pose estimation in the vision framework and while recording my daughter dancing with the tv it would spaz out. Turns out it was trying to track the instructor on TV! 14.0 Beta 3 Dev

    I'm coming from the experience of using messenger and WhatsApp and I feel like the whole animation process takes too long. The long press takes time on its own as well.

    In contrast, other apps have a single gesture which handles this and there is little of no delay in "switching" to reply mode.

    I'm curious how everyone else feels about this, I only really started feeling this way after using the feature intensely for around a week.

    iOS 14 PB2+3 shortcuts automations only running once

    I set up an automation that turns on one of my smart plugs when I scan a nfc tag at my desk. This was working without a problem before I updated to the public beta 2 and now 3.

    The automation only seems to run once per day when I try to trigger it with the nfc tag, after that it's like the tag doesn't exist.

    I've scanned the tag with NFC Tools and it reads okay every time. I also tried switching the tag to a different one and same thing occurs.

    Any ideas where yo go from here? Figured I'd ask the community before reporting it to Apple in case it's a simple fix or I'm doing something wrong.

    Anyone else experienced the same issue? Sometimes I can’t edit widgets placed in the widget panel. (iPhone 7 on DB 3)

    3 notification badges for 1 snapchat message. I know you can disable badges in the App Library but I wish it wouldn’t repeat so much

    Anyone having charging issues on iOS 14 beta 3?

    Since beta 3 installed I've been having a lot of issues with my iPad Pro not charging. It started as one charger/cable combo and now more don't work. The issue seems to be worse with Apple accessories and some 3rd party cables seem to work still.

    I've tried swapping all sorts of charger and cable combos and the only consistency seems to be an Apple cable. It actually appears that it is somehow shorting our or ruining Apple's cables, as they won't even charge my MacBook now.

    The iPad won't charge at all and doesn't recognize it's plugged in when this issue happens. Works fine in some other cases when it isn't an Apple cable.

    iOS 14 PB 3: Not sure if if anyone noticed yet, but in the feedback assistant app, I put the request to be able to change the skin color of applicable emoji in the emoji search bar �� (they do listen & read the feedback & sry if already posted)

    The stacks are confusing me a bit. Like I get the concept and I enjoy it. Can you add to a stack? I see where I can remove things.

    Let's say I add a stack it automatically has say music, calendar, and weather. If I add another stack it has, weather m, reminders, music.

    Can I have a stack with all the current apps?

    Is it possible to go back to beta using an iCloud backup for that beta version?

    I have downgraded to the official version of iOS (13.6) and me, a dunderhead, refused to do a backup when upgrading to the beta, so I set my iPhone as new.

    I did one iCloud backup since I installed iOS 13.6. Does that mean my iOS 14 backup is deleted? And if it is still available, can I upgrade to beta again, reset my iPhone and use that backup for installation?

    I had all my Screen Time, Siri proactive suggestions etc. data on my last setup, that's why I wish to go back. Does iCloud sync and backup those data?

    English isn't my first language, so I hope I made it clear. Thank you for reading.
