    Series 5 battery issues - turning off at 30% - 40% remaining

    I've had my Apple Watch Series 5 for about a month and recently I started noticing that my watch was dead, needing to be charged. At first I didn't notice but the past couple of days my battery would be at 33%, and this morning it was at 44% when I woke up, then a few minutes later the screen was off (except for the charge battery icon).

    I bought Apple+ Care, but with COVID and no Apple stores open, I don't know what to do.

    Weird issue with my series 5

    So the screen on my series 5 is completely off but I can tell the watch is still on cause it had a full charge when I went to bed last night and if I hold the side button on it, the watch will try to use emergency services with the siren sound and everything. Anyone ever had this issue/come up with a fix for it?

    I've tried hard resets, setting it on the charger and even messing around with accessibility settings on the watch app

    Does anyone know of an app that I can use that will make my watch vibrate or play a sound once every 20 seconds for example. One that doesn't give me a notification that I have to swipe away either.

    Edit: In case you're wondering it's for running. I have a Fartlek run coming up and without a team with me, I need to keep my own time.

    Using 3rd Party Apps

    Can someone highlight any disadvantages that using a 3rd party app has over the built in one. (On a series 3 so no always on stuff). I'm looking at workoutdoors because I occasionally plan some trail routes.

    Issues with the app not staying open on the watch ? - I guess you use "show last app" option? I like this off usually. Do these apps override this anyway?

    Syncing to Strava, activity app and health app. Does this all work ok?

    Ring closing - move and exercise - still all working.

    I guess what I'm asking is are there some trade offs because you're outside the stock app system.

    So I've noticed with the latest watch os update when deleting iMessages from your iPhone it does so on the watch as well. Anyone else notice it or has anyone else watch been doing it? Nice touch from Apple I know for me personally I had to delete them separately which was aggravating
