    So let me give a bit of background so it is easy to understand my situation. I am a college student who is taking the summer to study full time for the MCAT. I have an iPad Pro and a Windows 10 PC, mostly for gaming. Since I have a full desktop computer, however, I do not have a MacBook or any other laptop. This has made cross-platform note-taking difficult.

    What I currently use is OneNote because it allows me to type and draw with real-time syncing. It is really really good, honestly. The only problem is, the pen writing with the apple pencil is pretty terrible. The pen options are bad, there is no pressure sensing, it makes your handwriting look gross and block-ish, and it is overall just a poor experience compared to other iPad note-taking apps such as Notability or even the native Apple notes app.

    What I am looking for is a notes app that I can type on my Windows PC, but when I want to I can handwrite notes and add drawings or equations with a pen/pencil took as good as so many apps available on the iPad. OneNote also has incredibly good real-time syncing, so when I type it shows up on my iPad right away, and when I draw it shows up on my computer right away. I want that real-time syncing, along with typing and higher quality pen/pencil hand-written notes. I wish I had a MacBook of some sort so I could just download Notability on that and that be the end of it, but gaming on an Apple computer is not the best so I am stuck with what I've got.

    If there is an app that can do those things for me that I do not know of I would love to hear about it! Otherwise, I'll have to stick with OneNote and hope that someone makes an app that accomplishes all that I ask for.

    iPad stand with tilt/pan for 360 video

    Prefer stand without screwing into table. Fix via clamp would be easier for installation. Mustn't be too stiff to tilt/pan with a single hand. Or else if it's controllable with a remote? Any thoughts/links appreciated!

    So you cant charge with a usb connected to a pc?

    I tried charging the ipad through usb connected to a pc just like in the iphone but it doesnt work. It says that its connected but not charging. I guess the ipad needs more power.

    Magic keyboard worth it?

    I recently invested into the 11 inch iPad Pro 2018 model as a laptop replacement and love it, I would only need a laptop for basic web browsing and emails so felt the iPad was the job. I went in to the Apple store to try out the magic keyboard today and it's just so intuitive but is it worth the £300 asking price?

    After trying out the experimental features like a faster web standard by toggling on HTTP3 I have found safari to be quite faster .

    Notability keeps doing this when writing/ drawing. I have the 2019 iPad Pro with the 2nd generation Apple Pencil. Is this just notability being a bad app, or is there something wrong with my iPad? It happened on my older iPad too. Same app, 2018 iPad with Apple Pencil, Apple Pencil 1st generation.

    I currently have an iPad Air 2, running the latest iOS and to be totally honest it's alright but I'm looking to move into that lush 120Hz territory with the ProMotion tech. Should I spring for the Pro now, or should I wait for the Air 4?

    Why the hell do videos not play in 16:9 ratio?

    Hi,

    I am planning on ordering the Zugu Alpha Case for my iPad Pro 11 (2020) but would also like extra protection for the Apple Pencil. The silicon grip of the cover, I feel, would make the writing experience more comfortable over long stretches.

    If I buy an ultra thin cover for the pencil, will it affect charging?

    I feel like creating the extra distance between the ipad and the pencil will create that undesirable effect.

    What to do with IPad during work hours

    I have my iPad sitting on my desk while I'm working (using a desktop computer), and it largely does nothing. Sometimes I use it to play YouTube or music, but often it just sits there idle. I'm looking for ideas of things to do with it when I'm not using it for media.

    An app that displays useful info? An app that just shows something cool? I was using an aquarium app that shows fish swimming around, but it got repetitive.

    So, what do you do with your iPad in an office setting when you aren't using it as a primary productivity devise? All opinions welcome.

    ETA- it's usually in landscape mode on a stand so it can charge, so that's kind of important. Portrait only options probably wouldn't work for me.
