Adventure with nice visuals, an envelopping atmosphere, and a good story if possible? (details in post)

    Posted: 06 May 2020 06:07 AM PDT

    Hi there,

    Playing on iPad mini here.

So I liked Journey, except that there's not much to do or not much story and it's mostly evolving through fantastic visuals, but overall it was a nice experience with really nice moments.

I would love something on these lines with a very nice atmosphere, but with a slightly more developed gameplay if possible, and a nice story (or not, I'm still curious to know and I might still like it)

Or, something with characters with which you interact and discover things.

What I like: nice visuals, enveloping atmosphere, nice story, fluidity

What I don't like: I don't like puzzles, clue games, wandering for hours to finally understand that you must open the box up on the shelve where the cat is sleeping, find a key in it, decipher what's written on it and mail it to the professor. I don't have patience for that and quickly I don't care about what they want. I like discovering and be surprised, but I don't like playing to use my brain like hell. I like fluidity.

Light or dark are both ok, but not like really horrific

Full relax is cool, suspense is cool too, but really stressful is not, I want something that's overall relaxing to play

Games I've bookmarked before writing this post: Flowers, Samorost 3, Inside (too dark for my mood but I'm keeping it for later), Oxenfree, Thomas was alone.

Thank you very much in advance!

    Games that encourage walking?

    Posted: 06 May 2020 08:05 AM PDT

Games that encourage walking? I already know about Zombies run. Not my thing at the moment.

I am looking for apps and games that encourage walking to start. I may also want to get back into jogging. For now just getting out to have fun walking would be awesome!

What games are out their for ios that are all about encouraging walking, turning steps, location distance. That kind of thing into a fun little game?

General catagories I like are adventure, casual fun, super hero stuff. I've tried out fitbattle for example it's a lot of fun. I want to work up to where I can comfortable jog or pick up speed to enjoy it more.

    Recommendation for Color-by-number (no subscription/ads)?

    Posted: 06 May 2020 08:03 AM PDT

Any recommendations for a color-by-numbers, or other coloring-related game?

It's for my 7yo, looking for a paid app with no ads/no subscription.

    Thanks!

    Unlinking Game Centre games

    Posted: 06 May 2020 08:14 AM PDT

Is there a way to unlink certain games from game centre with the intent to delete game data and progress? Is it similar to unlinking certain accounts from another such as when you use your google account to log into things?

Any specific reason why Downwell forces me to play in this orientation??

Looking for an MMO, or something multiplayer based with a guild system.

    Posted: 05 May 2020 03:56 PM PDT

I mean, MMO's aren't all that great on the iOS platform but I'm pretty bored with life in lockdown atm and my pc broke a while ago and I can't afford to get it fixed haha.

I'm looking for an MMO that I can play with others, like raiding dungeons etc, preferably with a guild system that requires some Sort of team effort, rather than just sending each other resources lol.

In fact I'm kinda looking for something social orientated where I can perhaps make a few pals online? Doesn't specifically have to be an MMO.

Oh and pvp would be a great bonus.

I'm thinking of giving Black Desert a go, I loved playing black desert on PC but not sure if it's worth it on iOS? Opinions?

    Thanks in advance!

Anyone that plays Monopoly, how is it?

    Posted: 05 May 2020 05:27 PM PDT

Lot of reviews claiming there are freeze issues and I can't put a finger on whether it is valid or just slanderous. There are hardly any relevant YouTube video reviews for reference and neither any up to date articles about the app itself since launch. So is the game really that unstable? Yet how is it still #2 in paid app behind Minecraft with high rating? If unstable, is it mostly during online play? Lastly, during online play, are you surrounded by bots like in Call of Duty or PubG?

    Best FREE Offline Games?

    Posted: 05 May 2020 02:48 PM PDT

Basically the title. I am ok with ads, but not those intrusive ones that auto redirect you to the store. Also, none of those crap mass published game studios like voodoo/ketchapp/etc. Don't have any specific genre, and I am ok with longer stories, or pickup and play. My personal preferences are rhythm, sandbox, and simulation (flight in specific). Thanks in advance
