Looking for something that's easy to play and understand - I have Jackbox which has worked great and my family has also gotten involved with some games of UNO & Euchre 3D. Posted: 03 Apr 2020 12:21 AM PDT I finished all the Wadjet games, including th Blackwell series, Technobabylon, Gemini Rue, Shard Light, and even Kathy Rain (not as good). I've become attached to the Blackwell style and characters and was looking for iPhone games of this type. But I recently read on the Wadjet forum that the company will not be porting any more games iOS which left me disappointed. Is there another game or company out there someone can recommend? | Posted: 02 Apr 2020 08:18 PM PDT Looking for a game that is reminiscent of the old Warcraft 3 custom maps where you would fight enemies till you level up and evolve into a stronger version or you would choose your evolution path. Like you level up from a peasant into a scribe/soldier/thief then level up to the next one eventually and evolve again based on the previous choice. | Nuclear Annihilation Game On IOS Posted: 02 Apr 2020 12:41 PM PDT I was looking in the AppStore a while back, looking for a good geopolitical game when I stumbled across this gem of a game called First Strike. In the game, you play as one of the world nuclear powers (you unlock more as the game progresses) in a struggle to dominate the world and survive nuclear apocalypse. You build cruise missiles to defend against enemy nukes while building your own nuclear weapons and researching technologies, as well as expanding your territory. It's a pretty engaging game, and surprisingly stressful. I think of myself as pretty relaxed, but I was clenching my cheeks the entire playthrough. It's kind of like defcon, but the graphics are different and you can actually gain an advantage in the game, whereas in defcon, it's designed to be a level playing field. | Good bakery/restaurant manager without pay-to-win BS? Posted: 02 Apr 2020 12:56 PM PDT I downloaded Bakery Story 2 and really liked it at first. I love getting to customize a bakery/restaurant and level up and get bigger and better as I go. But this one is AWFUL about progression. It makes it so it takes WEEKS AND WEEK to do any kind of upgrading without spending real money on gems and stuff. I hate that. I would rather pay ten bucks for a game that's just good without stinging me for cash every chance it gets. So is there any game similar in style/feel to Bakery Story 2 that isn't a money hungry crap fest? Lol. I like being able to customize your place or your avatar, I like making your place slowly bigger and better or moving on. I like cooking games too like Cooking Craze and the like. Preferably not anything like the "Gardenscapes" or whatever, where you customize a place by doing match 3 puzzles. Something about the management and the actual making. Good story is also a plus!
