I downloaded the Doc onto my phone and it appears in downloads, but won't appear in my itunes on my PC. Is there a way to download onto my itunes so I can watch offline? | Apple TV IOS Remote App (IOS App Store Version) Not Connecting to Ethernet Connected Apple TV 4K Posted: 23 Apr 2020 08:43 AM PDT Have an IPhone 11 Pro and IPad Pro 2018. The built in Apple TV remote app in ios works fine whether the Apple TV is connected to Wifi or Ethernet. I download the Apple TV Remote App from the IOS App Store though and it DOES NOT CONNECT to the Apple TV 4K at all when the Apple TV is connected to Ethernet. If I DO connect my Apple TV to Wifi, both Apple TV Remote apps work, the one built in and the one from App Store. All of my devices are on the latest IOS version (13.4.1). I'd would love to have my Apple TV connected to Ethernet 100% of the time AND use the Apple's App Store version of Apple TV remote. Has anyone had this issue? [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 23 Apr 2020 05:33 PM PDT Not totally sure this is an ATV issue. But, the problem only persists with the TLC app on the ATV. If I freshly install and open the TLCgo app, without signing in with my cable provider credentials, the app loads and "works". All the thumbnails load, I can navigate the GUI, and search through shows. But, most episodes are locked, until I sign in with the cable provider. But, as soon as I log in, I get a loading screen, with a spinning wheel, for a few minutes and then the app crashes and I'm taken back to the ATV home screen. If I try to reopen the app, it just shows a black loading screen, with spinning wheel, for a few minutes, then the app crashes. I can delete the app, reinstall it, and, before signing in, I can see everything again. But, as soon as I sign in, it stops working, again. I'm able to sign in and watch TLC episodes on the iPhone app, iPad app, and even in Safari on all devices. All other apps, using my cable provider creds, work on the ATV. The TLC app on the ATV previously worked fine. But, for the last few months, the TLC app, just on the ATV, has refused to work as soon as I sign in. Auto update, for the ATV and apps, are all turned on, so it's up to date (TVOS 13.4). The app, I assume, is up to date, as many times as I've deleted and reinstalled it. I've even reset the ATV back to factory, reinstalled/set up everything, and the app still will not work. [link] [comments]  |

| Apple TV dropping signal to TV completely Posted: 23 Apr 2020 01:48 PM PDT So I have used this AppleTV 4k for over a year now. Until recently, it has been fine. Once in a while I need to toss an app outta recents to "cold start" it. Usually it's Philo causing that headache. So over the last few weeks, I watch youtube tv around lunchtime and it will play fine for a bit then the entire Apple TV will lose signal to the TV. I have tried reseating the HDMI cable but no. I think i have power cycled by pulling the power cable for a bit, but that didn't have any affect. Weirdly, if I let it just stay in that state without power cycling or messing with the cables, it will actually come back on by itself after 10+ minutes! Has anyone experienced this weirdness before?
