    Google kills YouTube support for Apple TV 3

    According to several Apple TV 3 owners, Google's recent changes to the YouTube platform has caused users unable to access certain content such as music videos.

    The issue seems to affect a large majority of users who are currently greeted with the message "An error occurred loading this content. Try again later." Users are left without a way to fix the issue.

    In correspondence with Apple customer service, Apple claims that the issue is caused by YouTube (owned by Google).

    Google has not addressed nor acknowledged the problem, despite numerous reports being filed and submitted over the course of more than two weeks.

    Please upvote this post to highlight the issue and bring a fix to affected users!

    Movies anywhere and the ATV app

    Has any experienced an issue with Movies anywhere where all of a sudden a bunch of movies you've watched suddenly re-appear in your watch queue? I know it's movies anywhere because the movies that aren't supported don't pop back up. It's happened a couple of times before but didn't think much of it, but it's happening more now. And it's only doing it to purchases from mid-March, not the full library (thank god)

    Possible remedy about purchasing TV Bundles from iTunes

    I have an issue where I bought TV Bundles of ongoing shows and once a new season is released that isn't included in the bundle, ATV basically says that I don't own the show. The only way this can be remedied is by going through your library. I have searched this subreddit and found similar people with this issue

    My question is whether anyone has purchased the seasons not included in the bundle and whether that remedied the issue.

    For example, I have Legends of Tomorrow 1-3 from a bundle. If I were to purchase Season 4 & 5 individually to complete the series that way, will the issue be remedied on ATV?

    Can I add another Disney+ account to the tvOS multiuser?

    I'll explain. I share the house with a person who has a Disney+ account other than mine. Can I link your Disney+ account to your Apple TV user profile and when I go back to my Apple TV profile do I have my Disney+ account?

    Can I stream a personal 4k video from iTunes to an Apple TV 4K, in 4K?

    I got a Roku 4K tv for my basement and was wondering if its worth getting the apple tv 4k to stream 4K movies from my computer to it. The Roku tv already has all the apps i need, so this would strictly be streaming from iTunes.

    4th Gen ATV and bandwidth issues

    confused by a recent significant reduction in bandwidth with my 4th Gen ATV. I have decent 300Mg down and have never complained about getting anything other than the highest resolution VBR stream for any service. But in the last week, Netflix in particular, has really fallen off - lots of black crush, compression and last night flat out lost the stream. While all other devices are getting 100M+, my ATV is very slow <30M and even after a reboot, still not where it should be. I've tried both wireless and wired -

    anyone else experiencing this? Any different troubleshooting suggestions? thanks.

    How to force to play sound via AirPlay/disable HDMI sound?

    I have an Apple TV 4k paired with the Sonos speakers (via AirPlay) and connected with TV via HDMI cable. I would like to force my Apple TV to play sound ONLY via speakers (I have disabled HDMI in settings -> Video and Audio -> Audio Output). Unfortunately for some applications (ie. YouTube) I found out they are continuously playing via TV speakers.

    Is there any way to disable passing sound via HDMI and force Apple TV to use AirPlay?

    Remote App vs Control Center Widget

    Since I've been sitting at home, been using the ATV a lot over the last week or so. One thing I noticed is that the built in remote app really wants to intrude more even if I'm already in the remote app. At this point is there a huge difference other than having the convenience of being on the home screen? I am just wondering if it's worth keeping the app installed at this point

    Random user notification- should I be worried?

    My brother was using his Apple TV when a notification came up saying something along the lines of (I didn't see it) "AirPlay Jon's IPad" with a code of 7513 in the box.

    Should we be worried & what can can I do to in order to prevent this from happening again?
