    Messages not going through when sharing through the autopopulated contacts

    When I go to share on my iPhone X (13.3.1) and try to send anything (photos, links from safari etc) to only my mom's contact through the autopopulated contacts (not sure what to call those, but contacts on the top row) it most of the time won't go through. I've tried deleting her contact, deleted everything but her number from the contact, made sure it's listed as an iPhone (probably doesn't even matter) and I can't think of anything else. It either starts a separate thread full of iMessages that never go through or just wont go through on the regular thread. I've tried to delete the thread of messages that don't go through, no luck. Its trying to send them as iMessages if that makes any differences. I always get a notification saying something like "the message to mom failed to send." If I choose share then messages and fill in her name I don't have any issues. I haven't had this issue with other contacts. Any idea how to fix it?

    What is the best OSX software to copy any type of files to computer?

    I would like to view all files including hidden ones and have the ability to copy them from my Iphone (latest Ios) to my Mac (OSX 10.15.4). Any software recommendations anyone?

    Can iOS 14 give us the option to download from other browsers?

    I like the fact that iOS 13 finally gave us the ability to download files after like 20 years lol but I'd like it if I could do it without having to go to safari every time. Is Apple locking that api from third party developers or is it on Google to update?

    Safari reshuffle

    Is there any fix for Safari shuffling?

    Safari is now randomly shuffling my tabs around. This is very inconvenient as I keep a set of tabs open and grouped together for quick reference. I also tend to have a lot of open tabs at any given time just so they're in the queue to be read at some point in the future.

    It used to be that Safari was very good about never moving tabs around. Now it seems that it will randomly shuffle any recently opened tabs, which is very annoying.

    I am wondering what changed, and if this is somehow a result of something intentional and if there is a way to make it go back to not shuffling them around. Is this a widespread issue?

    Scrolling to the bottom in Settings > Privacy > Location Services freezes the settings app. Happened to me on iOS 13.4 and 13.4.1. Significant location also has been resetted back to on (which i already turned off) after reboot.

    I need to import my passwords from Chrome to iOS

    I've found some tutorials that say you export from Chrome, import into Firefox, open Safari on a Mac, and import from Firefox. I did this but it didn't import anything. Firefox imported 597 logins. The Passwords & Accounts in my iPhone settings shows 228 passwords. iCloud is enabled and signed in to my account on the Mac and my iPhone.

    Incorrect Home Location in Calendar

    I moved last year, and updated my contact info (the contact selected as "me" for Siri) to have my new address at that time. Searching for "Home" in Maps shows my correct address. However if I type "home" as the location for a calendar invite, my old address is shown. Any ideas on how to get the Calendar location suggestion to match what Siri has?

    So I recently upgraded from the iPhone 8 to the 11. I changed network providers aswell but transferred my old number. I had problems transferring but that was due to the provider.

    So now my phone has 2 numbers on it and I was wondering if there is a way to get rid of the other number as I will only be wanting to use my original number.

    Also sorry if this isn't a "post worthy" question. I've been searching google for a while now and can't seem to find anything related to this

    Direct file transfer between iOS & Android devices

    I managed to move photos directly from my friend's iPhone to my Android phone using an app called FTPManager: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ftpmanager-ftp-sftp-client/id525959186

    The concept is pretty simple: you move the files in a folder, and then use the app to create an FTP server with the folder as root. Once the Android phone connects to your hotspot they can access your files via FTP easily.

    Speed I measured with iPhone 7 topped 5 MB/s. Pretty decent for transferring photos, which are also transfered at full quality unlike most online share functions in the iPhone. A disadvantage might be the fact that there only appears to be one app capable of doing that (please correct me if I am wrong but I didn't find any other FTP server apps on the app store). Also on Android I did not manage to find a very stable FTP client without ads but there are plenty overall. F-droid has at least a handfull, all open source and without ads. With a good app on Android capable to also work as a server, this method works both ways.

    Are there any other ways you could recommend for transferring photos directly from an ios device to an Android one? How about the opposite? Cheers!

    How can I turn off the annoying post typing auto correction?

    iOS 13 has an annoying habit of correcting words that I've previously typed (and moved on from) into something which makes absolutely no sense.

    Here's one that happened recently:

    With With much With much luck With much duck you

    As you can see, "luck" was incorrectly changed to "duck" when I finished typing "you".

    How can i turn off this incredibly annoying feature? Neither "auto correction" or "predictive" stop this.

    Dark dot in the middle of the screen

    Whenever I use assistive touch, I get this dark black dot in the middle of my screen. Does anyone know what it is? If it helps, I am using an iPhone SE with 13.4.

    Been an android user my whole life, just bought iph11 to experience something new and I find some things a bit weird. Like I can't switch off wifi or Bluetooth completely from control centre? It'll automatically turn on again by itself after some time like why they place the switch there if it doesn't even do its only function. Also it won't let you see the battery percentage at all time on top icons to make sure you give less attention on battery while using BUT they implemented a setting that'll let you see your phone's total battery capacity health which will make us feel upset by seeing your phone's battery degenerating. Come on Apple!

    laggy interface

    is it just me or since the last major update the phone is laggy and jittery? especially when switching between apps and through icons? (11pro here)

    even when i turn on the home screen sometimes the colors/brightness or something are kinda messed up and in a split second it fixes itself(doesn't do it everytime though)
