| iPhone XS transfer video failed, video gone Posted: 02 Mar 2020 05:22 PM PST I was transferring a video from my iPhone XS to my Dell laptop through a usb c to lightning cable and in the middle of it, the transfer stopped and I'm left with a 20 kb video file on my laptop and the rest of the video no where to be found. | My iPhone constantly disconnects from WiFi Posted: 02 Mar 2020 06:34 PM PST I have an iPhone 6s, running the latest iOS. It CONSTANTLY disconnects from Wifi. Nearly every time I put the phone to sleep and then unlock it, it loses its connection. However, it doesn't default to cell data. It still thinks it is connected to Wifi, but can't load anything. So I have to open settings and toggle the Wifi until it reconnects. I DEEPLY REGRET switching from Android. Anyone know a permanent solution for this? I have tried all troubleshooting tips I could find, including resetting my network settings and forgetting and re-logging into my home Wifi. Thanks! [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 02 Mar 2020 08:11 PM PST Randomly the screen on my iPhone X became unresponsive. There's no damage to the outside of the device and no water damage. I've tried: Hard resetting Restoring with Find My IPhone Erase feature Restoring with MacBook Restoring with DFU mode Nothing seems to be helping in terms of getting the screen to be responsive. Does anyone have any other ideas other than opening it up. I plan on going to the Apple Store tomorrow to see what they can do. My friend believes potentially something inside became loose but I have no idea. Would this be something covered by Apple if they can determine the root cause of the issue or something I'd have to come out of pocket for repairs if it's even repairable? [link] [comments]  |

I have no idea what this is and there is no way more me to disconnect from it as you normally would. I never connected to it and it is only on when I am at my house. | Iphone 8 problems with hotspot sharing Posted: 02 Mar 2020 05:56 AM PST So I have my phone data turned on all the time and don't have any problems with that but whenever I try to share it to my friends it only enables them to join one at the time( or multiple if they joined at the same time) but right after that it disappears from accessible wi-fi's. | Apple Podcast not Downloading Episode Posted: 02 Mar 2020 10:40 AM PST I have a problem downloading podcasts I am subscribed to. In Settings > Podcasts > Download Episodes I have the setting as "Off" to not let the podcast episodes download automatically but rather for me to manually select the episodes I want downloaded (sometimes I don't want to listen to a particular episode and hence I don't want it automatically downloaded). However, since this is off, none of the episodes download. Every time I try to download an episode manually, it shows the download completing slowly and then at the end it says "Download Failed", as shown in this screenshot. | IPhone 6S+: weird microphone issues Posted: 02 Mar 2020 12:43 AM PST So my mic works fine on phone, voice recordings, telegram voice notes, voice-to-text, everything EXCEPT when I take a video. Then it sounds like the audio is in a fishbowl, it's all echoy and terrible. Anyone have any guesses as to why this is? I don't understand why this could be and I always forget to hook up the external mic when I record videos it's really annoying. She had some water damage and the home button stopped working and the phone's screen turns on and off. She can kinda use the phone using an on-screen button, but the battery drains fast. I opened the phone, cleaned the home button with isopropanol and removed some corrosion I found. Didn´t change much, so I ordered a new home button for now, but waiting on it to arrive. She just told me today now that the home button started working again, but the phone's screen still turns on and off. Question: Could the source for this behaviour be something else than the home button? (I´m not an iPhone person, so don't know the exact behaviours of the phone) Thanks for any advice. | Can’t download or update apps from App Store Posted: 02 Mar 2020 04:06 AM PST Hi, If I try it will start, but freeze. What I've tried - Turning phone off/on again does not work, but does help in stopping the updates. Closing and reopening App Store doesn't work either. While App Store refuses to work, the phone can still do system updates and using current version of iOS. In case it's relevant - 13.3.1 No restrictions are on. Have plenty of space on phone. I don't believe it's a login issue or data issue as I have a Mac/iPad with the same account with no problems updating or downloading. [link] [comments]  |
