    As we know, Apple TV have 32 or 64GB of pretty fast flash storage. But for some reason and unlike on the other Apple devices, you cannot do anything with it.

    1. Offline iTunes/Netflix/HBO movies? Nope
    2. Offline music library? Nope
    3. Just connect USB / Lightning drive to access anything? Nope

    It pisses me off how useles this thing is without the Internet. I know, I know, Airplay... But it only works if you've invested in ecosystem.

    I've been waiting for a price drop on this and it finally happened. It's the lowest it's ever been.

    I was so excited to see the price drop that I wanted to share the info.

    I didn't include a link to avoid any affiliate link suspicions or any crap like that. You can just do a search in the iTunes Store to buy it while you can if interested.

    I'm in America and so your price/availability could be different if you are outside the U.S. of course.

    Apple TV 4k - have to sign in every time

    This only happened recently, not sure if it was after an update, but every time I use my Apple TV I have to enter my account password to view my purchase library. When I look in accounts, they're there and nobody would manually sign out the device. Any ideas how to fix?

    HBO GO Issue?

    Is anyone having an issue with HBO GO not populating shows in the up next feature? It says my shows are in up next, and there ARE new episodes... but they are not populating in the top shelf "up next" feature.

    Netflix not working right

    Hi guys, I got the ATV 4K about a week ago and everything has been working great until now the Netflix app will not work right. I can open it just fine and trailers play but whenever and wherever I choose play, the app freezes, sometimes plays audio and subtitles only.

    What I've tried so far is restarting the ATV, restarting the app, force closing it, reinstalling it, resetting my ATV to factory settings.

    Until today it was working fine. Any ideas?

    Airplay issues on Infuse Pro

    Anyone experiencing airplay issues with the Infuse pro app? When I try to airplay, it's just showing a blank screen with a loading wheel on the tv. On the phone, it says it's already playing on the tv, but the playback is actually paused.

    I tried the resolution that they posted on firecore, but still did not work. Does anyone else have any other alternative solutions to this? Thanks!

    It looks like the following support articles were updated last night:

    The biggest change here are the new regions. I never knew Single Sign-On was supported outside of the US.

    There are a few new apps too (Spectrum Sportsnet and Fox Sports). Also new big providers (Altice One, Frontier, PlayStation is gone).

    [UK Apple TV user] I appear to get a better picture watching NOWTV (720p) than 4K Netflix with match content setting on. Why is that?!

    Apple TV HDMI-CEC nightmare. Considering buying a harmony hub - got a few questions.

    Hi, I bought an appleTV4K and a Denon AVR recently and while they all work perfectly on their own the HDMI-CEC functions are causing me no end of problems.

    The main issue I am having is that when I select sleep from the apple TV the TV turns off (as I want it to) and the AVR turns off (again as I want it to). As soon as the apple TV finishes going to sleep and the light goes out it immediately wakes back up (light turns back on) and wakes the amp up! But it leaves the TV off!

    I have resorted to turning the ATV off and then simply waiting a few seconds before clicking the amp off again. The whole system is a nightmare.

    It all wakes up fine though!

    First up: Does anyone have an answer for how to solve this? Denon support claim its nothing to do with them and I have tried every option on the AVR, Apple say it isnt them and they only provide CEC On or Off, and phillips who make the TV provide no control again (On or Off).

    I saw some people talking about harmony hubs and after a look into it it seems like a hub thing with an IR blaster. With the harmony hub will I be able to use my apple tv remote as my only remote and get the system to turn on / off as I desire or do I have to use the harmony remote?

    Using Third Party Remote with Apple TV 4K via Learn Function - No way to learn the 'Home Button'?

    Tried to use a third party remote and got all the button working (expect one).

    There is no way to learn the 'Home Button' via the Learn Function to the remote.

    Of course that is bad, cause you have no option to close Apps that are running in the background for example.

    Is there no way to learn the Home Button on a third party remote?

    Does anyone know if every time you buy a new Apple device you get a free year of Apple TV plus? I upgrade my iPhone every year so it would be nice to get it free every year when I get the latest iPhone

    Weird app and Hz behaviour.

    I've got an Apple TV (latest generation and latest tvOS) connected to a LG 4K 60UF852V TV.

    Pretty sure the standard in Europe is 50/100Hz for monitors that's why I set my Apple TV to 4K 50Hz SDR but there's some weird behaviour.

    If I run Twitch a video starts absolutely fine but after some minutes it gets laggy - it's definitely not down to my internet. If I set the Apple TV to 4K 60Hz the problem is solved and it never occurs again.

    One would say now yeah then just leave it like that but the thing is if I want to watch football on the Sky Q app then 60Hz makes it laggy and stuttering again and it just is solved by setting it back to 50Hz.
