While there, I had a Japanese SIM card in order to use data. At the place where I got the card they changed some settings on my phone to get it to work (before that it just showed 3G and did not work - afterwards the data flowed). Now that I'm back, my former SIM card no longer uses data and only shows '3G' despite having no connection at all. Calls and Texts are still fine. Phone company has been no use - I did a Network Setting Reset twice on their advice but nothing seems to work. Can someone tell me what settings were changed so I can get my data back? Tried messenger, lightroom and Instagram and none of them are able to import photos from my camera roll. I also just went into my gallery and I'm not able to play any of the videos that have transferred from my old phone. Any help is appreciated [link] [comments]  |

It just started recently. I'll hit tap to download it changes for a sec then reverts back to tap to download. I received a video from someone else recently. Could it be on someone else's end ? | iOS 13 Beta update kinda screwed up my phone Posted: 21 Feb 2020 04:31 PM PST Most apps don't work, performance is doodoo, and my battery life is terrible. I am part of the official program so a faulty or fake program is not possible. I deleted the beta tester profile hoping that would remove the update but it didn't. I've restarted my phone multiple times to no avail. I don't want to go to the Apple store because I think it can be painlessly fixed. Any recommendations? Thank you for reading [link] [comments]  |

I haven't had an iPhone in a while but I thought I remembered two options for display that make all then icons, fonts, etc etc smaller. I found the font size options but nothing else. When I click the app, the icon will appear on the screen like it's going to open and after maybe 10-15 seconds it crashes and goes back to the home screen. This is happen to the apps I use less often. My phone is updated to the latest update. I've tried deleting and re-downloading the apps. I've tried restarting my phone. I've tried force quitting the apps and trying to reopen over and over again. Nothing works. I also still have almost 30 GB of storage available, a friend said that a lack of storage room may be the reason but it can't be that. help!!! [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 21 Feb 2020 02:05 PM PST It charges briefly then stops charging I have cleaned the lint out. I've used multiple cables, multiple blocks and multiple outlets. It's very random when it does decide to charge. It can charge for a few minutes or a few hours. It works fine on multiple days then all of a sudden it stops wanting to charge. | Migrating to iphone with smaller storage (32->16 gb) temporarily Posted: 21 Feb 2020 03:49 AM PST Hello, I was wondering how does iOS handle migrating between phones with different memory sizes (the migration will probably be done via icloud, not itunes). Will it download only some apps, and the rest will be marked with "cloud" icon, so that I can only download the ones I really need? I just don't want to get rid of half of apps unless it is necessary. If thats relevant, the source phone (SE, 32gb, almost full) is running on ios 11.2.2, the destination iphone 10.x (its a 16GB 5S) (the phone swap is needed as I'm sending the SE to service), the option sending photos to cloud (and leaving only thumbnails on the device) is enabled. The option of uninstalling unused apps is disabled. The icloud storage is 50gb. Is there any possibility something will be lost after I switch to smaller iphone and then back to bigger SE? (I will be doing itunes backup either way). If that's relevant, the SE will be wiped (it needs to before servicing). Thanks in advance, Jack [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 21 Feb 2020 08:08 AM PST I received this like new phone from my friend. He bought a new one and had the current issues. Ever since he upgraded to 13.3.1, he could not connect to any bluetooth. He also couldn't connect to any wifi network unless he placed the device next to the router. I have factory reset, network reset, regular reset, and everything else in various guides. I have reset both the router and modem. I have read some other forums and this seems to be a fairly common issue with the current ios. Should I just downgrade to an earlier version? Not really sure what else to try. [link] [comments]  |

Also, today it's very windy and despite my other devices working fine my phones internet is not working at all and I'm having to use my 4G. Any ideas why this is? | Camera bug after iOS update, Help! Posted: 21 Feb 2020 06:30 AM PST I recently bought my first iPhone 8+ and updated the OS to iOS 13.3 just to notice my front camera didn't work anymore? It most likely isn't broken, because before I updated the phone I used my front camera I believe. My back camera only works with the Camera app and in Instagram and the front camera works nowhere. Both cameras don't work in Snapchat, WhatsApp, etc. It just shows me a black screen and freezes the app. I've checked if my storage is full which it isn't, I've hard-resetted my phone and turned it off and on several times. I even waited for a new iOS update to fix the bug but iOS 13.3.1 didn't fix anything. Can anyone please help me find a solution? I feel like shit considering this is my first ever Apple product and I was introduced to plain out shit. I feel tired of Apple already. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 21 Feb 2020 06:18 AM PST Half the time when I press play again after pausing music (using the iPhone corded headphones that come with the phone) it brings up voice control. I then have to unplug my headphones and swipe away before I can use the buttons on the headphones again. Any fix? [link] [comments]  |
