iPhone 11 Overnight battery drain from 100% to 50% Posted: 01 Feb 2020 09:28 AM PST Not using the phone or anything overnight and somehow the battery drops 50% of its charge. Only change recently was that I got a wireless charger. [link] [comments] |
iPhone 6S black screen and not charging Posted: 01 Feb 2020 07:56 PM PST My iPhone 6S refuses to charge and is stuck on a black screen I also recently updated to the newest IOS. I just left it in my backpack for 2 hours in a mild temperature room and when I came back and grabbed it, it had stopped working, its been 4 hours since then and it's not charging. I don't know what to do but I feel like it has something to do with the battery, however, I only got my phone roughly 6 months ago [link] [comments] |
iPhone 11 Pro Max - Bluetooth volume turns off while driving? Posted: 01 Feb 2020 04:37 PM PST Posting on behalf of my lurker boyfriend. He bought the newest iPhone when it first came out and so far he's been loving it - apart from one annoying issue we can't seem to figure out. He'll get in the car, his phone will connect to Bluetooth and he'll start playing his music on Spotify. Everything will work fine until he starts driving. Suddenly the volume will drop completely, and adjusting the car volume will do nothing. He'll have to turn up the volume on his phone, and obviously he doesn't want to be doing that while driving. We've looked through the settings and can't seem to figure it out. He never had this issue with any of his old iPhones either, so I'm hoping someone here will have some idea. Thanks in advance! Capturing Gameplay @ 60fps - Can I adjust the default screen capture's settings? Posted: 01 Feb 2020 11:14 AM PST Hello all, I'm trying to find a way to record my Iphone 11 Pro Max gameplay @ 60fps. Can that be done with the default screen capture software? I can't find an option to tweak settings. I'm using Version 13.3. Thank you! [link] [comments] |
How I SOLVED the iPhone 7 boot loop issue Posted: 01 Feb 2020 10:06 AM PST So last week my iPhone 7 was going through the boot loop. I got so annoyed after it wasn't turning on all day so I left it overnight beside my bed and when I tried to power it up the next morning it somehow turned on. Yesterday I accidentally let my phone die overnight and surely enough the boot loop sequence continued to occur when I tried to power it on the next day after I plugged it in. I began researching it and found out that you could plug into into the computer and by pressing the home and volume down button put it into recovery mode and where you update the software and then restore it to factory settings which is what I did but unfortunately the boot loop cycle continued. So I thought back as to why it turned on last week and I remembered that my phone gets cold when it just sits on my table overnight (as my room is in the basement and it's cold) So yesterday I decided to stick my iPhone 7 in the freezer for 1-2 minutes as it was going through the boot loop cycle. And surely enough when I took it out it showed the apple logo with a loading bar under it and the phone successfully booted up. I know this sounds far fetched but i tried it a second time and it worked 2/2 times so I'm curious to see if it would work for other people. I had to do it twice because first I used my computer to restore it to factory settings and then I had to turn it back on after I restored my backup. So if you didn't feel like reading all of that, my solution to the iPhone 7 boot loop issue was to: Place your iPhone in the freezer for 1-2 minutes and hope that it gets out of the boot loop cycle. I'm extremely curious to see if this works for anyone else, I have no clue what made it work but it worked twice for me. [link] [comments] |
iphone back camera wonky after water damage, repairable? Posted: 01 Feb 2020 01:32 AM PST I dropped my phone in the washing machine for 10 sec. Took it to a repair guy who cleaned it and replaced the lcd. Only problem I see now is the camera, the connection is wonky. Takes a while to open front cam, back one glitches and won't at all. Is this repairable? It's an old iphone 6s [link] [comments] |
