Will my watch still track my activity in my pocket? Posted: 05 Feb 2020 08:06 PM PST My job has banned us from wearing Apple watches, but I still want to be able to meet my move and stand goal every day. If I keep my watch in my pocket will it still track my activity? [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Feb 2020 07:33 PM PST I drive a semi and get out to load and dump grain a handful of times a day. Do any of you have experience working a dirty job with your watch? [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Feb 2020 07:17 AM PST I've had a Black aluminum Series 2 for a few years and have mostly worn it with a Apple Black Milanese band. Finally upgrading due to Digital Crown issues. Picking up Titanium 44mm today with SS Milanese because I though it looked good on Apple Store app. Anyone have/seen combo? What do you think? [link] [comments]

Posted: 06 Feb 2020 01:18 AM PST A couple of weeks ago, owing to its face dropping off, I upgraded from a stainless steel OG Watch with a milanese strap to a silver aluminium Series 5. As I had a 6 Plus, I also needed to upgrade my phone at the same time, making the stainless steel option prohibitively expensive. The white sports strap which came with the 5 not being to my taste, I'm wearing the milanese which came with my OG. As there is a danger of scratching the Ion-X screen with a milanese strap, and a possibility of the strap's magnet interfering with the series five's compass, I'm considering buying a sports loop. Two questions: does the sports loop's hook present any risk of scratching the screen; if not, which colour strap would you recommend for a silver aluminium Watch with a California navy blue default face? S4 battery drain of 40% overnight Posted: 06 Feb 2020 01:50 AM PST I've disabled background updates, Siri, noise detection and applied all suggestion found here, also wipe out and disconnect and reconnect but nothing let me go more then 12/14 hours of battery. It's that normal ? [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Feb 2020 01:04 AM PST I have some music I bought through the Apple iTunes Store that I want to play on my watch without my phone. I have selected the music I want on my watch in the app on the phone and left them together charging overnight. When I select music on my watch from the library it just does the ring of dots and then goes to sleep. Playing on the watch off my iPhone library works fine. Any ideas? [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Feb 2020 01:04 AM PST I have been looking at the Apple Watch lately, but I don't know what series I should buy. I'm thinking of the series 5. I like that the series 5 has the always on feature, but my concern is, does it drain the battery more? And what are some benefits the 5 has over the 4. [link] [comments]
Running app that helps you keep your pace? Posted: 06 Feb 2020 12:52 AM PST I'm notoriously terrible at keeping my pace when running, is there an app that could issue a warning to my airpods when I'm either too fast or too slow along the lines of „increase pace to meet target time". Maybe even go a step further and also give me a quick heads up when I reach a certain heartrate. [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Feb 2020 06:52 PM PST Does the series 5 have a updated processor from the series 4? [link] [comments]
Does your exercise ring progress far easier after the latest update (watchOS 6.1.2)? Posted: 06 Feb 2020 12:38 AM PST I was out of the country without my AW4 for about 1 week. When I arrived, watchOS 6.1.2 was available. I noticed that the exercise ring started to close very easy after the update, even though I wasn't really doing any real exercise (still had some days off and many time was spent either driving or in malls, where usually I walked to slow for AW to record any exercise activity). Going and returning to work routine filled about 20 mins of exercise before (recorded just when walking outside). Rarely had the watch recorded a minute or two of exercise for walking when inside the office building. But now boom!!! It records activity even when inside, and far too much when walking outside. Did you guys notice the same thing? Did try a simple restart of AW, didn't work. Was to lazy to reset it, hope is a last resort action. [link] [comments]

Ordering Uber - black only (no X) Posted: 05 Feb 2020 10:14 PM PST Hello, I'm having issues getting the watch to allow me to order an Uber x without using the phone. It defaults to Uber black. Turning the crown and swiping both do nothing. I know this sounds insignificant, but I go to music festivals and events where pickpocketing runs rampant and I'd love to just leave my phone behind. The one issue? Ordering an Uber! [link] [comments]
Have they borked Siri control of quick actions again? Posted: 05 Feb 2020 07:26 PM PST Since the latest patch the old "Quick actions don't seem to be set up" message is back. Works fine with non-voice. [link] [comments]
What are good apps to monitor multiple stock prices? Posted: 05 Feb 2020 12:02 PM PST Id like to see price changes of multiple stock tickers in the modular watch face, the default app only shows one ticker which is only useful for indexes not individual companies. [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Feb 2020 02:07 PM PST How do you go about closing your move ring on a low activity day without it affecting your 'Move Streak' award? [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Feb 2020 04:26 PM PST I purchased the space black Milanese loop, but now I'm worried about scratching the aluminum watch. I'm considering returning it. I've already noticed that it's extremely easy to have the magnet flip up onto the watch face when taking it off. What's your experience with the loop on the space gray aluminum? Would I be better suited with a leather instead? [link] [comments]

Powerbeats pro dropping sound / connection with apple watch only Posted: 05 Feb 2020 03:15 PM PST I've started to use just my Apple Watch at the gym. When I used to carry the phone with me in the gym the Powerbeats Pro never dropped their connection. Now that I am leaving my phone in the locker and trying to use just the watch, there are connections issues every time.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to stop it from having issues? It sorta fades out then I no longer hear the book. I try pausing / restarting book and eventually I get it back so I can hear it again, but this isn't something I want to mess with even a couple times during my workout. [link] [comments] |
