    Connection not stable? Both Belkin 48GB cable, and “8k hdmi 2.1” cable do this. Passes HDMI test. Only shows this when selecting HDR/60, and then doing “enable Dolby vision.” What gives?

    Frustrating that all completed movies/shows from Disney Plus app still appear in Up Next in the TV app?

    Anyone else experiencing this? My kids watch a handful of the 3 minute clips on Disney Plus and then the Up Next section is full of stuff thats already been watched.

    Amazon Prime integration in Ireland

    Does anyone know why Amazon Prime is not available as a Channel in the Apple TV app? I am based in Ireland, but I know that in the UK they have the integration.

    Should I get apple tv?

    So I have a Samsung 4K smart tv from I think 2015. It works fine but nowadays not all apps are supported, I can't install amazon prime or disney plus. And apps sometimes crash or are very slow. I do have an PS4 on which I can play Disney plus and Amazon Prime, but it's a hassle to boot up the PS4 every time.

    So I'm looking into a media player. I first looked at the chromecast but I do think I want an actual interface instead of using my phone for everything. I just want one place to watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, Apple TV + etc. So the apple tv seems like a good candidate for that.

    Would the apple tv be worth it in my situation? I assume I should get the 4K variant because I have a 4K TV. I also don't know if I should get the 32GB or 64GB version.

    Super Hydorah and Cursed Castilla: Arcade gaming on Apple TV

    Anyone here likes classic arcade games?

    We've recently brought some on Apple TV: the action platformer of Cursed Castilla (retro gameplay + Spanish folklore), and space shmup of Super Hydorah. Thought this would be interesting for the gamers in this subreddit. :)

    Start playing on your iPhone (come on, everyone plays on the toilet!), then move to iPad, and "finish them!" (the boss, not your other devices!) on Apple TV.

    Cursed Castilla on iOS can be played in both orientations - and now also on Apple TV

    All progress will be saved in iCloud, of course. And you need a controller to play on Apple TV, for iPhone and iPad it's optional.

    Our team (yes, we are all gamers of different generations!) figured out multiple ways to get a console experience out of your iOS devices:

    1. Super portable: iPhone + controller (PS4, Xbox, MFi)
    2. Portable, more eyeballs-friendly: iPad + controller
    3. "King size" console experience: Apple TV + controller

    Once you have Cursed Castilla or Super Hydorah (or both!) on one device - you've got it on all others, so no need to buy separately.

    Apple 4K Tv Netflix not showing ultra HD badges, it’s showing HR badges instead but Netflix from my LG C8 shows ultra HD on the movies that support it.. need a little help

    Like the title says, this is a new issue.

    It wasn't always like this, so my Apple 4K tv stopped showing the 4K badge on some movies but when I switch to the LG C8 Netflix tv app the 4K badges are all there. So something isn't working correctly, I was also having the same exact issue with Dolby Atmos.

    Any one else have this issue or a solution to it ? Thanks!

    AT&T Now app stuttering

    AT&T TV app, not Now. Started last night, happens on every channel. The stream starts out fine, then the audio goes 5 ish seconds off and the video starts stuttering. Anyone else experiencing this?

    Advice on buying a used Apple TV?

    Guys, I was thinking about buying a used Apple TV, perhaps 3 gen 1080p, mostly for watching movies, music, youtube, and possibly browsing a web from time to time. I can''t afford the new models at this point, so what is the best option to buy that can be jailbreaked? Thanks.

    Free movie apps on Apple TV ��?

    I been having a blast discovering new apps that offer free movies and tv shows every day since I purchased my Apple TV! They don't have to be top rated movies for me as I have my mix of paid steaming services and cable apps but also love my free movies when I have the opportunity to find apps that offer it !!

    I am curious if I am missing any apps ! This is what I found so far .. movie spree , asian crush , midnight pulp , yuyu, viewlorium, Pokémon tv , the cw and cw seed , all classic movies , wired, dust x, the archive , popstar tv , shout! Factory tv , dark matter tv, wash tv, dooya, snagfilms , tubi, popcorn flix, crackle , Vudu, plex, film rise , comet tv, Halloween flix , and Pluto tv

    I feel like I am missing more that is available on the App Store !! Recommend some please that you personally like that you don't see on the list I provided !

    Can't load any Apple TV episodes

    My Apple TV 4K & iPhone can't seem to load any episodes while connected through my home Wifi/Ethernet. It would show the loading icon but it cannot get past there and would show a "error loading content" thereafter. Tried this on dramas (Servant etc) and movie trailers. Other apps such as Netflix and Youtube loads just fine.

    However, when I tried using my iPhone to load using the phone network, it loads without issue.

    It seems that this issue is isolated to my home fiber connection and only to the Apple TV app contents. Every other website and streaming works normally on all my devices.

    This issue is kind of unique and I'm at a loss as to how to troubleshoot from here. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

    TV Os beta 13 bricked my Apple TV

    Yesterday before the Super Bowl I put my Apple TV in the beta update pipeline by choosing beta on the update screen. It did it's download and reboot. Two things have occurred which I can't seem to get around.

    1. The Apple TV does not recognize its remote or the remote app on any previously used devices.
    2. It is prompting for remote setup after it boots up.

    I attempted connecting the Apple TV to my iMac which has the latest OS (non-beta). The Apple TV appeared in the devices list on the sidebar. After it populated the device screen with OS data, etc, I clicked on restore. Server not responding.

    I just want it working. No remotes can get this device to respond. Is there a way to force the reset? I installed Xcode and configurator on my iMac. Followed instruction from iMore. Went to the developer site for Apple to download the latest image and the only download I'm seeing for TVOS is some AR app for developers. Help!

    Scratches?

    Hi, I bought an ATV 4K a couple of days ago and since then I've had to travel and I have used it since, every time I moved I placed it into the Box and today I noticed that there were a lot of scratches in the Non-Matte part of the device, is there a way to fix this? Is it normal? Will it affect my ATV's performance?
