    Hi everyone. I had a man day that his AirPods were tracked back to my house. He showed me his phone and it was indeed my house. The thing is, there are no AirPods here. He said he must have lost them at a near by church the other day. The only person that goes to church in my house is my mom. She's a work, but she doesn't even know what AirPods are and I doubt she would have picked them up. I asked her about it, and sent her pictures of some AirPods online. But she says she has not seen them. She usually keeps things that she would find in her purse, and she's currently at work. I've looked everywhere and don't seem to find any trace of any AirPods.

    Now I'm freaking out a bit, mainly because I genuinely feel bad for the guy. AirPods are expensive, and on top of that, we genuinely don't have them here so I'm freaked about how it would have been tracked here.

    I was just wondering what I could do about the situation?

    I have a problem with my MacBook screen. I have these weird spots all over my screen which cannot be wiped off and soon will cover the entire screen. It’s annoying as hell and I don’t know what to do about them… can someone help?

    Sorry for a misleading topic but I had no better way to put it, My current girlfriend is Fasting and she sleeps late, she supposed to wake up by 5 and pray but she won't because she's asleep, Is there an app that I can use to vibrate her phone because calling won't help when her phones on silent mode, there's gotta be a way to over run that. Please help

    Need help charging an old iPod

    Hey there - I recently found an old iPod I had, I think it's the 2nd generation (touch wheel, buttons in a circle around it). I'm trying to find a way to charge it so I can relive the nostalgia/embarrassment. I've been looking at chargers on Amazon, but I'm having issues finding one to work. Either it's just FireWire in each end with nothing to plug it into the wall, or some say they have whatever number of pins...can any of y'all help me figure out how I can get back to 2002?

    My mom doesn't have a voicemail tab? When you go to phone she has keypad, contacts and favorite. We are on the same contract and I have voicemail so I wouldn't think it wAs carrier issue. It's the new iPhone 11

    iCloud sync old file over new version

    I am marking up a pdf file on my iPad, and the file is on my iCloud drive. I have my iCloud synced on my windows desktop. After marking up the pdf file, I checked a few hours later and an older version of the pdf is synced on my ipad. I'm assuming instead of syncing the newer version on my ipad to my desktop, it synced my desktop file onto my ipad, overwritting my work.

    Any way to recover my work?

    Can't get my MBA 2019 to play raw 4K videos

    A freelance videographer I hired made some clips for a work project, and he delivered the files for review. It's 40 gigs of materials in total with clips ranging from 400mb to 2gigs.

    I have a MBA with macOS 10.15.3, 1,6 GHz, 16gigs of RAM, and Intel UHD Graphics 617 1536 MB graphics. I can't get VLC to play any clip, only audio. The picture freezes instantly. I also tried MVP and Blu Ray Player Pro with no success. It's very annoying and I can't find the solution online.

    The clips are MPEG-4 files, 3840 × 2160 resolution, H.264.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Phone Stolen Abroad and Activation Lock Request

    Not sure if this is the right sub to post this in, but I got my phone stolen in Montañita, Ecuador on New Year's 2019 while abroad (I'm from the States) and after the fact I got my phone replaced with Verizon & Asurion. I put the phone in lost mode, erased it and removed it from my account.

    Recently someone on WhatsApp with an Apple Support name and profile picture messaged me (highly doubtful that it´s actually Apple Support) with a photo of the phone saying it was received at a customer service center in Lima, Peru. I later responded asking if they could send it back and then while listening to Spotify the music changed to a Spanish song saying it's being played on a different device.

    This made me believe that they were able to get onto the device and use the Spotify app which is linked to my account. Worried that they now have access to my data and confused since I put it in lost mode and at least thought that erased it, I checked iCloud on find my iPhone, and the old iPhone which I had previously removed from my account appeared on my devices list.

    I put it in lost mode again and erased it again. I got an email saying the erase happened and then got an email saying Activation Lock is requesting my password. What do I do? Should I remove it from my account again? Could this lead to the same thing happening again?

    when i message my friends on my iphone, the same message gets sent to my brother on his ipod, so he can see all my messages. how can i stop this from happening?

    2010 MacBook Pro stuck on startup

    My mother-in-law gave me this machine, she said it up and stopped working without warning one day. I can get it into Recovery mode, connect it to my wifi, etc, but when I try to get it to download and install OS X Lion, it says my recovery HD is locked. When I try to enable journaling, the option is grayed out. I have a spare HDD sitting around, should I look into trying to use that instead? I'd just like to resurrect this thing. Thanks in advance!

    I'm trying to start using Apple Music and/or iTunes Match, and I have a few questions about how it works, and I haven't been able to receive a lot of help searching on Google.

    Basically, I have about 17,000 songs in mp3 format, roughly 66gb, on my PC at the moment. They are from CDs I've collected since I was a kid, music taken from friends, my dad, or most recently just mp3s bought on Amazon. Basically, none of my music is purchased from iTunes or Apple Music. All of this music is synced to my iphone XS.

    I'm very particular about my music, as I have a lot of live versions, remixes, rare albums, etc., and as I understand it, iTunes Match tries to copy every song through an algorithm, and I dont want it to mess up my music. I know I will have my mp3s backed up regardless, but how can I be sure that I won't lose music that only "I" have (i.e. no match in Apple catalog).

    I believe there is a way to upload these songs manually, with same format, etc.? Can I do this to all of my files, instead of having to match them? This is important to me because my mp3s are converted to 128, which I know isn't the best ever quality, but I did this so I could keep a substantial amount of music on my phone, and I also don't notice much of a difference once they're converted. Apple uses 256, which means there's goes a lot of space on my phone.

    I've never used Apple Music, but the point is that I want to. My goal is to keep all of my personal mp3s, and then also subscribe and download from Apple Music from now on. I can stream from it, but I want to be able to download, as I travel a lot, dont always have internet, and am oddly protective about my music collection.

    Is iTunes Match not the best Apple service for this? Is there a better way? Thanks in advance, as I know this is a long post.

    MacBook Air 13” Mid 2012 Won’t Power On

    My aunt spilled water on her Mac and now it won't turn on or recognize the power adapter. If I take out the hard drive and put it into a compatible hard drive enclosure (recommendations on one are welcome) is it possible I can retrieve the data? I've done it with a standard 2.5" hard drive just not the ones in this model.

    Hello,

    I'm using an original iPad Air with iOS 12.4.5 and a PC with Windows 7 and Lightroom Classic CC 8.1.

    I've transfered some RAWs from an SD card to my iPad using the Lightning adaptor. Then I used Snapseed to edit those files.

    Now, if you are familiar with Snapseed, you'll know that when it comes to saving/exporting your work, you have three options: "Save", which implies modifying the RAW itself with the possibility of coming back and editing the file again or undoing the changes (iOS wil ask for permission to modify the photo), "save a copy", which creates a copy of the RAW that will be editable too, and "export", which just creates a jpg copy with undoable changes.

    Now, having edited some photos and then saved them with the first option, I want to transfer those modified RAWs from the iPad to my Lightroom library on the Windows PC.

    Before doing so, I've checked the Photos settings on iOS. In the "Transfer to Mac or PC" option, you can choose "Automatic" or "Keep Originals" (according to iOS: "Automatic transfer photos and videos in a compatible format, or always transfer the original file without checking for compatibility).

    I checked "Automatic" and then connected the iPad to my PC via USB. However, neither File Explorer nor Lightroom recognize the iPad as an available source. In fact, the iPad appears nowhere except iTunes. So I go back to the Photos settings and this time choose "Keep Originals".

    Now both File Explorer and Lightroom recognize the iPad as a source and all the photos are there. The big problem, however, is that Lightroom can't seem to recognize the changes made on the RAWs by Snapseed. After I transfer my photos to the Lightroom library via USB, all I see are the original RAWs -- not the edited versions.

    I'm guessing that the "Automatic" option from iOS will work only with Macs and their official Photos app (I'm not sure though). However, this Windows PC with Lightroom is all I have and definitely I don't want to lose the edits that I've already done on my iPad with Snapseed.

    So the question is -- is there a way of transferring those modified RAWs to my Lightroom library without losing those changes? Something on the Lightroom preferences side maybe?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Sometimes when I’m typing something, the letters get inverted.

    I think it only happens on the internet Chrome app, I'm not sure if I've experienced it on any other applications.

    Sometimes when I type a word, the first letter becomes inverted. Like if I was typing apples, I'll type "a" and the cursor jumps in front of the a, so what gets typed is "pplesa"

    All the letters after the first letter start typing before the first letter.

    It usually only happens when I'm editing text. Like when I highlight and re-write something on chrome. It also happens with words. Like if I write a sentence, then highlight and re-type it, the first word will become last.

    I am so confused because I have been using computers for almost 20 years and don't think I've ever seen anything like this! Anyone have an idea of what the heck is going on?

    The computer is a MacBook Pro 2017 13inch (bought new in mid-2019 from Apple) macOS Mojave Version 10.14.6

    Macbook's bugging out PLEASE HELP

    Hi, so I have a 2013 MacBook pro and lately the battery's been giving out at like 64%. It did today and then I tried to charge it but the charger wouldn't light up (I think it broke at the same time cause somebody else's worked). So I tried just turning it on and the fans started blowing immediately really hard and it took a long time to boot up. When it did it was slow and the battery icon was missing. When I tried to put it back through system preferences it would just uncheck itself right after i checked it. It also said Battery Charge 0%. Eventually, I got scared and turned it off cause the fan wouldn't let up. Please help me I'm a student with an essay due. Do I need more than just a new battery? Is it worth fixing ? (i cant afford a new computer though).

    Macbook Pro Cursor Moving By Itself

    Hi, I have a 2015 Macbook Pro and the past week or so I've noticed the cursor is moving by itself. I did not spill water on my keyboard or my trackpad or anywhere near or on the computer. But I did have a portable fan in my room for a few days which made the air very feel damp, I'm just not sure if this could cause any problems because nothing has affected my iMac. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I've watched countless YouTube videos and they all say disable specific settings, which I did and nothing happens. Is there anything I can try to clean it out really well without taking my computer apart? Thank you!

    MacBook Pro background keeps changing
