TLDR: Am keen to hear your thoughts on whether this would be a battery fix or an actual repair. iPhone uses AM when I use Spotify, which heats up and slows down my phone. Problem: iPhone uses Apple Music (when I'm not subscribed, or use, or signed into), which drains battery, heats up my phone, and makes my phone unresponsive generally. I've tried soft resets, full factory reset, and draining my battery and starting again. Nothing works to fix it :( Although, sometimes it doesn't use AM, and then my phone goes back to normal. | Posted: 02 Jan 2020 11:45 PM PST So for the first time ever I dropped my phone. It was during a traditional Dutch holiday where we give gifts and assignments and the phone slipped out of my pocket into a deep (but dry) well. Where it hit a rock on the back and now both the back and the front have an impact point that shattered. I'm getting a replacement today through express replacement but used the Apple support option for a broken back panel and forgot to mention that the front was also cracked. Could this be a problem when Apple receives the phone? I've had AppleCare plus since the iPhone 6 and have never used it before, so I'm scared I'll end up paying the 1200 euro replacement reservation because I forgot to mention the broken front panel [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 03 Jan 2020 06:31 AM PST Hi guys. My iPhone X bought from Apple on launch has now a green line down screen and no Face ID it's unavailable. Followed everything. Reset. Wipe. Update etc. Nothing. Took to Apple. They are trying to charge me what the phone is worth second hand to fix as a small dent in the bottom corner they are accusing. This happened 5 or 6 months after I dropped it. Any way to fix it ? [link] [comments]  |
