| YouTube default resolution stuck at 480p Posted: 02 Jan 2020 08:53 PM PST So I have an iPhone 11 and for whatever reason every time I watch a YouTube video it plays in 480 p and I have to manually switch it to 1080p every time. Posted: 02 Jan 2020 11:57 PM PST My phone was stolen a couple of weeks ago and I finally got it back but now it won't turn on and won't charge. I've tried the hard reset trick didn't work I left it on charge over night and still nothing, I truly don't know what could of caused this. Externally the phone is in perfect condition, besides a scratch on the screen (that wasn't there prior to my phone being stolen) I've even tried plugging it into my hp laptop and normally when I do so it says my iPhone is connected but this time nothing happened at all. So I can't put it in DFU mode or DFU restore my phone. It doesn't show the dead battery icon what so ever. I believe my iPhone 6s Plus has the latest iOS update.. | Why is my charging port always being so stupid?... Posted: 02 Jan 2020 09:39 PM PST Hai, I've got an iphone 7... and you allrdy guessed it. My charging port is either dirty or half broken again.. i dont know how i do it or what it is thag it causes it.. Since a month or 2 my iphone is only charging with a light pressure on the cable while its in the phone... (with the cable thats at my bed) Now i didnt have any problem charging it with my second one at the computer... but since 2 days THAT CHARGER BEEN DOING STUPID TOO LIKE THAT. It needs a bit of pressure, like i need to lay my phone on something so the cable lifts abit up, so it can charge. Its kinda pissing me off at this point and i dont know how or what it is with me... my brother or mom never had this problem. Whats triggering this. I then have to go take them out or I end up with a word or two on every line. I've searched and searched but can't figure out what could be causing this. I am looking to get a new/mint Iphone SE 64-128 gb and on ebay I have found listings of it that claim its brand new. on blackmarket only listings of it in mint condition. Price is fine. But I am just worried if I buy this new/mint condition that the phone has some problems months later or something, or should I be fine? I know these phones are old but i wish it was easy to find a new one. But, is it still a risk buying one in mint condition cuz then idk why it says mint condition. [link] [comments]  |

She logged out of iCloud and reset the iPhone erasing all content and settings. I'm now trying to activate it - but keep getting the same error no matter what I do, which is: "SIM Not Supported - The SIM card you currently have installed in this iPhone is from a network provider that is not supported under the activation policy currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another SIM card from a supported network provider or request this iPhone be unlocked by your network provider. I had two contacts in my phone (just names and phone numbers). One person had an iphone (blue texts) and the other had an android (green texts) At one point I texted both of them in a group text, though the text chain is long gone I recently deleted both contacts from my phone. When I search my contacts for their names, they do not come up However, when I type their names into the to field of a text message, both their names come up together as a group text. | Posted: 02 Jan 2020 12:09 PM PST Heyo need some help guys...my girlfriend woke up to over 1000+ pictures and videos deleted on her iPhone (Pro Max 11). They were wiped completely clean and don't show in the iPhone storage. Here are some details that can help us solve this: - photos are not in the recently deleted folder - she did not use iCloud, all the media was stored locally - iCloud photos are enabled - we tried hard resetting the iPhone and leaving it plugged in with a solid wifi connection - there is just a huge gap in photos between may 3rd and nov 1st - apple tech support did not know what happened - she did use iCloud to do a data transfer, but the photos were saved on the iPhone storage afterwards Any help would be appreciated!! It no longer works and will not power on. I'm planning on buying an iPhone 11, but I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to transfer all my stuff over since I can't access the water damaged phone. I can probably just re-download all my apps and photos since they're stored on Google Photos, but I really want to transfer my texts over.
