| AppleTV 4K: Live TV stutter on 4K, but works on 1080P? Posted: 02 Jan 2020 05:56 PM PST I have CBS All Access, when I try the Live TV option with the TV output set to 4K SDR 4:2:0, I get constant audio and video stutter. My TV is Vizio PX75-G1. When I set output to 1080P SDR, it works, so is it something with the upscaler? I'm able to get Dolby Vision and Dolby Audio without any issues at 4K. Anyone else with similar issue or is able to think of something to try? [link] [comments]  |

| [Question] Connecting Marshall Speakers Posted: 02 Jan 2020 12:16 PM PST Hi all, I have a Marshall Stanmore II Bluetooth speaker (like this one), which has been great with the Apple TV. My only issue is that every time I turn on the Apple TV, I have to navigate the Settings app, then into the Bluetooth section, scroll down to the speaker, open it, and tap Connect. Doing this every time is rather annoying, so I'm wondering if there is perhaps a shortcut to get there, or (unlikely I guess) a way to set it up so it always connects to it at startup. Thank you in advance! PS: Connecting via the audio jack would work, but it prevents me from controlling its volume, so that's a deal breaker. [link] [comments]  |
| Airplay from Windows iTunes to AppleTV Posted: 02 Jan 2020 05:55 AM PST I'm hoping I can find some help... I have iTunes on Windows and an Apple 4K TV. Both iTunes and AppleTV are updated to the most recent update. I've always used iTunes to play my music, AirPlay to my various AppleTVs, using the iTunes Remote app to manage the playlist/music. I've always done it this way. Ever since AppleTV iOS 13 this functionality has stopped working. The music will play for maybe 4 minutes and then lose connection. I've brought this up with Apple, and they identified it was a known issue. But, many iTunes and AppleTV iOS patches later and I'm still unable to do it. I've spent countless hours making sure I'm optimizing AirPlay... but nothing. I'm hoping some "Hail Mary" fix exists out there. Anyone have any suggestions? [link] [comments]  |

So far so good I am really glad with it but I've notice when streaming YouTube videos from iPhone, playback stops specially in longer videos when ads appear and have to resume again from my iPhone.
