| Posted: 29 Dec 2019 07:55 PM PST synced up my iphone XS to my MAC and under photos the only thing it shows is the last video that I posted in messages. I have enough room on the MAC i've about 500mb left on my phone but i dont think that is the issue. I tried the troubleshooting links, but still no joy all my photos current or previous wont show up, any pointers? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 29 Dec 2019 11:16 AM PST Hello! I've recently been having a lot of problems with my iPhone 7. First it all started with an error that popped up saying something like "your phone cant make calls or text because you need a cellular service provider update." My Phone WAS jailbroken with unc0ver iOS 12.0.1 but I un-jailbroke because I thought that cellular service provider update could only be updated with the new iOS because it didn't give me any options to update it. I clicked on cell service provider in the options multiple times and looked around in the settings and didn't find anything (I have Verizon.) If I restarted my phone I would have service for maybe an hour tops and then it would give me the same error before and then would say "no service" After I un-jailbroke the phone got all those files cleaned up and off of the phone, I went to update my iOS to 13.3. During the update my phone somehow turned off and completely screwed everything! My battery was at 80% and I really thought that would've been enough, but when it turned off it still had battery? It turned on right away after it shut off prompting me to go to "support.apple.com/iphone/restore" with the computer and cord plugging into the computer. I followed the steps and went on iTunes with it hooked up to the computer and clicked "update" and then waited. It said that it failed and that since it failed I should try "restore" instead of update. I tried "restore" and it also failed. After all of that mess I decided "hey why not try 3uTools out." I downloaded 3uTools and then tried flashing it that way and it also failed. With the 3uTools it got all the way to 80% on the 3uTools program and on the iPhone it was showing the apple logo with the bar about half way filled and that was the farthest I ever got. I checked the cord and tried different usb ports on the computer so I don't think the problem is either of those. This is my only phone and I really don't wanna have to spend money on a new one. Tapping open doesn't do anything. When I reboot my phone, the app comes back, but it looks like a corrupted app. When I open it, it crashes each time. Any advice? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 29 Dec 2019 03:28 PM PST I got the iPhone 11 today and was going through the transferred contacts and found one that had been blocked on my old phone. I was trying to figure out how to block it on this phone, but accidentally called them (yikes). I hung up before the first ring finished, and in the call log it's listed as "cancelled call." I figured out how to block them and did so soon after this. My question is, if it's displayed for me as cancelled call, will the recipient of the call receive any notification of it? I need the serial numbers off the phones, but my old carrier has had me on hold for super long time. Getting desperate here. | iCloud (Photos) Family Sharing Help and Syncing Posted: 29 Dec 2019 12:41 PM PST I purchased the 200GB iCloud plan and added my partner to the mix. I am doing this so their photos can all upload onto the cloud. They previously had only the free 5GB iCloud plan. I added them via text, they accepted and selected "start using iCloud Family". But on their phone it still says "1000 photos have not been uploaded to iCloud". We also visited icloud.com/photos (with their login) to see if uploads were happening but still seems to be the same number of photos and videos from the previous 5GB plan or even the number of photos/videos is decreasing. What is going on here? Her phone has everything toggled on. If they are in fact being uploaded, is it not going to be shown on her iCloud login anymore? [link] [comments]  |

First my text messages are coming in delayed from people, for example one just came in that was sent to me 24m ago, and when I send messages usually the first will show it delivered, but if I send a couple back-to-back the others will take noticeably longer. It doesn't always happen like this, some messages come in perfectly, and other times it just delays for a long time and I get a ton of messages at once. It still struggles, but performs better when the phone is open it seems versus locked? This has been going on for a week, and now all the sudden I can't make any calls. If I call someone, it doesn't go straight to voicemail, but it will never actually ring either. | Posted: 29 Dec 2019 02:57 AM PST I have an Iphone 7 and use an Ativa lightning to aux cable and Sony ex series earbuds. Just a couple of hours ago, my earbuds stopped working while listening to music, and the music started to come out of my phone speakers instead. No amount of reconnecting the lighting cable would fix the issue. When I plugged in a HyperX Cloud II headset into the adapter, either the sound would stop, the volume bar would jump up then back to where it was before, and sound would come from the phone again, or I would be able to hear the audio from my headset, but it was very staticky and after a couple seconds the sound would go back to being played out of the speakers again. I have tried disabling bluetooth and then connecting earbuds, I would get good audio for a couple of seconds, but after a few seconds the audio would pause, and then be played from the speakers again after resuming. I also updated to ios 13.3, but that did not fix my issue. Any help is appreciated. [link] [comments]  |
