Any racing games on iOS like Burnout or destruction Derby?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 07:56 AM PST

Currently “on rotation”. What are you guys playing?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 09:30 AM PST

In my free time over the past two years, I created my first game - a galaxy themed puzzle game called Reorbit. If you're looking for a free, laid back game on your commute, check it out!

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 06:12 AM PST

Over the past two years, I've been working as a solo dev in my spare time on my first game, Reorbit. I always check out r/iosgaming to see what's new and to get some inspiration. Hopefully, I can do the same for some fellow developers and to provide a solid game to the community.

The goal of the game is to match the colorful moons to the planets of the same color. You do this by rotating the moons with a single tap and then launch the moons along paths to other plants by tap-holding then releasing. It's a simple two input action puzzle game with a bunch of mechanics that throw wrinkles into the simple base idea. There is a scoring system where, by completing the level in the fewest amount of actions, you earn stars to unlock levels.

There are no pay-to-win or predatory IAPs. As a gamer myself, I hate those types of games and I will always make games that respect the players. There are ads every 5-10 minutes, but I tried to make them as unobtrusive as possible.

It's been a crazy long journey from just dabbling in Unity starting in 2010 to growing my capabilities into being able to release a full game. Over the last two years of working a full time job, getting married, and creating a side gamedev company, I sometimes thought I would never finish.

Thanks for everyone's support/feedback and keep playing awesome games!!

Are you guys able to mirror iPhone games to your PC?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 03:20 AM PST

Used to work for me before (about a year ago) now mirroring only works when videos are playing. This applies to all mirroring softwares that I've tried.

Can anyone test if they can mirror their iOS games on a PC and tell me how if it works?

    Thanks :).

I published my first app to the App Store this week! It’s called Sudoku Evolved—it’s a new type of 3D Sudoku puzzle game.

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 09:54 AM PST

    What is it?

Sudoku Evolved expands upon traditional Sudoku by extending it to three dimensions. Each face of a cube contains a unique Sudoku puzzle that follows traditional Sudoku rules. What makes Sudoku Evolved unique is that the numbers on the edges are shared between faces, creating a link between adjacent puzzles. This allows for interesting new gameplay—solving for clues on one side of the cube may help you figure out clues on another side!

    Where do I get it?

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sudoku-evolved/id148816143

How can I follow updates and/or bug fixes for the game?

    Website: https://maxqsoftware.com/sudoku-evolved/

    Twitter: https://twitter.com/MaxQSoftwareLLC

Lastly, if you have any problems or issues with the game, please reach out to me first (either via Reddit, the Contact page on my website or on Twitter) rather than leaving a negative review! I welcome all feedback!

    Enjoy!

    Favorite Bullet-Hell games

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 06:04 AM PST

I've had an itch for a good bullet-hell game lately, but I don't see this genre talked about much on this sub. Anyone have a few favorites they'd like to suggest? Thanks!

    Scratch my Room itch

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 09:38 AM PST

I recently finished all four the Room games back to back, and I need more! The House of Da Vinci looks nice, would you recommend it? Or anything else that's similar to the Room? Thanks all!

    Best Deck-building games on iOS?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 08:25 AM PST

I'm open to paid and free apps, just not ones with scummy in app purchases. I've played Slay the Spire on PC and am waiting for it to come to iOS but in the meantime I'd like a new game to try out!

Any good dungeon crawlers and/or settlement builders

    Posted: 06 Dec 2019 12:42 PM PST

I want a good dungeon crawling adventure with an interesting story and maybe a home base to build up. I'm also interested in a straight up settlement building story game but less so. I don't want anything that's bogged down by micro transactions I don't mind if they're there but I don't like when it's a huge portion of the game.
