| Why are so many people complaining about battery life of the series 5? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 06:46 AM PST Mine lasts me through my whole workday with an hour workout thrown in almost every day (using the workout app on the watch which is supposed to be a huge battery drainer). By the end of the day before I put it on the charger, it usually still has 30-40% battery left. Besides being a nice convenience, what's the point of having the battery last multiple days if you can just charge it at night with your phone. Sleep tracking is the only thing I can think of which would be a fair point, but this isn't an issue for me as I find most sleep tracking apps pretty unreliable anyways. However, the volume wasn't changing but my watch's brightness was as I turned the crown. This happened accidentally but could be handy if I could figure out how I did it. | Posted: 30 Dec 2019 08:02 AM PST Hello, I just received a Series 5 40mm for christmas and I am enjoying it a lot. I bought some additional bands on Amazon and find that they are all a bit too tight to put on when they go around my wrist. I keep seeing that the 44mm bands are a bit longer but I am wondering if anyone knows of any longer 40mm bands or if I can put on a 44mm band on it or whether it sticks out to the sides. For reference, the widest point around my hand is about 10" so the band needs to be as close to that as possible. Recommendations are greatly appreciated. [link] [comments]  | ||

It's the series 3 and I put it in water mode and did the speaker thing to get rid of water. It worked fine and I wasn't worried. Then the next day the watch didn't charge. It's been a week now and the watch won't even turn on to tell me the time and low battery. Out of warranty they're quoting $250 for the repair which is twice as much as I paid for the thing. They also said they can't confirm warranty coverage until after I ship it to their warehouse and put a $250 authorization on my card(which I obviously don't want to do). Is there any way to know if I'm covered or be able to send the watch to them to find out without putting a huge hold on my card? And then have them send it back if it isn't. I've had an amazing experience with Apple in the past for a quick $30 battery replacement on my phone but this seems pretty terrible as a comparison. Even beats headphones have better support as Apple will tell you if they're under warranty or if you're going to have to pay before you send them off. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Has anyone had any issues with Analog watch face not refreshing with AOD? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 05:47 AM PST I noticed last night that when I tapped my watch on my Series 5 Nike Edition that the display sped up to the proper time and the AOD actually didn't move the minute hand at all. When I switch to the digital face it works and refreshes no problem. I tested it on my wifes non Nike Edition and hers did the same, what's the point of the AOD if it doesn't refresh every minute?
