Posted: 07 Nov 2019 03:09 PM PST I recently changed to an iPhone from a Samsung, and one thing I noticed is that if I get multiple messages from the same person I'm notified with every message they send. Is there a way to delete that without doing a total system reinstall while also losing all my text messages? It appears in the photos when taken and also appears when using Snapchat. Rand new phone, never dropped or anything. Restart didn't help. [link] [comments]  |
| Photos not uploading to iCloud Posted: 07 Nov 2019 04:04 PM PST Hello everyone. I looked for this subreddit in the hope of finding some help. I have a 128gb iPhone XR and my storage got full, I decided to get iCloud and I'm currently paying 9.99 a month. The thing is when I subscribed none of my pictures uploaded to iCloud and I was still getting the notification that I have no storage. So I looked online and it said to enable offload unused apps and that's what I did. With that turned on, the notifications stopped for a couple days but the pics never uploaded to iCloud, and now the notifications are back. Does anyone know what to do? | Belkin screen protector is easily scratching? Posted: 07 Nov 2019 01:21 PM PST I got an iPhone 11 this past Tuesday and bought one of the $39.99 Belkin glass screen protectors at the Apple Store and had them apply it. Today I noticed that the screen protector has tons of small scratches on it that aren't visible without looking closely and one larger scratch that is visible when hit with light and I can feel it with my fingernail as well. To say I've babied this phone would be an understatement. I didn't have a case on it until today and there are no scratches on the back at all. Is this expensive screen protector really supposed to scratch this easily? Has anyone had a similar experience? [link] [comments]  |
| Do Not Disturb while driving prompting Posted: 07 Nov 2019 12:53 PM PST I recently had to erase all settings and now I keep getting a notification/pop up window while I'm riding the bus to work asking if I'm driving. I'm never driving, I dont even have a car. In the settings menu I have DND while driving set to Manually. I made sure the Control center option was also disabled. How can I get this notification/pop up to stop asking me if I'm driving (with the two options Turn on/Set up later in Settings) Its already been set in the settings menu to manually. Why does this keep appearing? I dont want this notification/pop up ever. Specially when I'm in the middle of working on things on my phone. Halp! OS 13.2 [link] [comments]  |
| Why am I getting old messages from a deleted contact? Posted: 07 Nov 2019 04:51 AM PST I deleted all the messages from an old contact some time ago, but not the contact itself. This morning, I woke up to find that three random messages were sent to me from the contact, 30 minutes to an hour apart. I'm not 100% sure, but I think these are old messages she sent me months ago. | IOS 13.2 iPhone11 Unable to change Ringer with side buttons (Change w/Buttons selected) Posted: 07 Nov 2019 07:42 AM PST OK, first I will admit that i am new to the iPhone, having the Pro 11 Max for just over a month now. I am trying to figure out how to change the volume of my ringer without having to go into setting each time. I have seen videos of this ability on youtube and it seems like it should be pretty easy (Settings ->Sounds & Haptics -> Change with Buttons) is turned on, but no matter what I do I cannot change my ringer volume without going into the settings menu. When I turn that switch on I expect the ringer and volume controls to be tied together and adjustable vi the buttons on the left side of the phone. I can adjust the volume of everything but the ringer all day long, but the only way I can find to adjust the ringer volume is to go into settings, select Sound & Haptics and then I can change the ringer volume with the buttons or the slider. I though maybe this was the only way but then I saw the posted youtube video above showing exactly what I expected to see, the side buttons (on IOS 13) adjusting the ringer volume without having to go into settings. Hopefully I am just missing something simple here, but it is truly a pain to have to go into settings each time I want to change the ringer volume. Also, when I do have an incoming call, trying to raise the ringer volume while it is ringing just mutes the ringer entirely. Thanks for any advice.... [link] [comments]  |

I tried sending it to someone today and it said "downloading". Why is it downloading the photo if it is saved onto my phone's memory???
