    [Help] How would I go about changing the personal hotspot frequency from 2.4GHz to 5GHz? I want to hotspot to my Galaxy S9 to use Xbox Console Streaming over my 4G connection which is very fast at around 100-150Mbps but stutters on my S9 due to the signal being 2.4GHz. Is there a tweak or something?

    If you have an iPhone <= X will you ditch your current jb (unc0ver/chimera), update to iOS 13.2 and jailbreak with checkra1n? What are your motivations to/not to do it?

    This is sort of a follow-up to yesterday's post about me fixing snapback, the beta tests were successful and I have now publicly released snapback 2.0.1.

    Special thanks to the Jamie, 23Aaron, and Ayden at Dynastic for authorizing me to push the update in MNC's absence.

    I'd also like to clarify: I am \not\ taking over SnapBack, it's not my project. This was a special case since I had already fixed this exact same bug in Succession. I don't expect SnapBack to require any future updates, but if it breaks again, I am not promising that I'll fix it.

    Checkra1n is almost there, and I heard the iOS 13.1.3 SEP is compatible with 13.2.2, so I tested my device for you!

    First try, I used --latest command but it failed with error code 22.

    So manually extracted the sep and baseband of 13.2.2.

    Let's go!!!!!

    Now my iPhone X is 13.1.3:)

    [Request] I see some devs on twitter looking for new tweak ideas, and here I am requesting a tweak with code replacement for an iOS rule that keeps deleting the small sized dictionary files to free up space for years.     So I like FaceTiming friends but I also like listening to music, but when I try to play music when I FaceTime, the music is way too loud for me to hear whoever is on the other end of the call.     [Question] iTunes Restore can enable disabled daemons?

    So I decided to disable some daemons on iCleaner like disable assistive touch and etc but I'm aware that these daemons will still be disabled even when unjailbroken. But my question is, if I did a system restore using iTunes and set it up as new device will the daemons that I disabled will be enabled again or work?

    [Discussion] Is anyone not jailbreaking when checkra1n drops tomorrow because there is still no appropriate solution for jailbreak detection bypass?

    I remember reading somewhere before that with the vulnerabilities found to make checkra1n, it is possible to make a more efficient jailbreak detection bypass where the bypass tweak/modification is such that no app will be able to detect the jailbreak at all. Is this feature going to be implemented in checkra1n upon release, or does someone have to integrate the bypass method into the jailbreak? Nonetheless, as much as i want to, i won't be jailbreaking due to jailbreak detection issues with a few banking apps and Pokémon go. Anyone else on the same boat?

    My grandfather has a hard time using his iPhone. But I also can't just buy him a dumbphone as the whole family uses WhatsApp to stay in touch.

    I imagined a super easy to use concept for iOS:

    - No lockscreen.

    - The "home screen" looks just as in the picture.

    - Swipe to open an app to prevent accidental input.

    - Good old skeuomorphotic design which is much easier to interpret for beginners.

    - Secret "PRO mode" for me as an administrator if I need to change a setting which could be activated with a button combination.

    Could my idea turned into reality by for example creating a theme for that customizing tweak of which the name if forgot (LockHTML or something)? Please excuse that the concept is in German as I first didn't plan sharing it on reddit. https://imgur.com/a/GanqlbE
