| Posted: 26 Nov 2019 08:59 PM PST Morning All, I have just purchased the iPhone 11 Pro Max and through successive iPhone purchases I have approximately 7000 photos & videos in iCloud and also stored on my iPhone. Whilst I would like to preserve them I don't want them visible on my iPhone anymore. They are fond memories of times past but I don't need access to them daily. Is there a way to store the old ones in iCloud and start again and only display the new ones that I now take? Perhaps there is a way in iCloud to move all the old photos into a sort of vault. | Restoring iPhone with no backup Posted: 26 Nov 2019 02:26 PM PST Hi everyone, Apologies if this is a stupid question, but my iPhone recently got damaged so that it won't charge past 3 percent. Went to the Apple store and they said I have some damaged pins in my charging port and there's nothing they can do. I have a another iPhone and want to switch to that, but have no iCloud backup and my latest iTunes backup is almost 2 years ago. I've tried backing it up now and the phone dies every time. All of my latest data is there when I open icloud.com , so I guess my question is will all of that disappear if I restore from an old backup? And is there any way to move that data on to the new phone or extract the data in any way? Hope that was clear enough. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 26 Nov 2019 10:45 AM PST So my iPhone 7 got crashed by a recent update, Apple is repairing for free. Have a loaner 7 they provided until repairs are done. Can't restore my backup from iTunes onto it because 'itunes could not restore the iphone because the password was incorrect' It won't accept my password that I used to sign into iCloud, the phone, iTunes etc. What other password could it be? Getting concerned I won't be able to restore my personal iPhone if the repairs wipe the device! [link] [comments]  |

Running latest iOS 13.2.3 The phone has been working perfectly with all updates etc. Out of nowhere today the Wi-Fi has stopped connecting or connects at one bar. Speedtest consistently showing 2,4,5 mbps. ...yet laptop claims to be running at fifty. What's happened what can I do ? I replaced the screen lock button earlier today and Found a Web connectivity via Wi-Fi and having to use my data plan to even type this. Any help would be greatly appreciated [link] [comments]  |
