Posted: 31 Oct 2019 08:09 PM PDT I got a new phone today (iPhone XS) and I backed up my old phone (iPhone7) on iTunes so I can save my pictures but the backup won't work for my new phone. Is there anyway to retrieve said pictures from the backup file so I can put them on my phone? Edit: I don't have the 7 anymore I traded it in [link] [comments]  |

| Phone screen doesn't work (and won't) Posted: 31 Oct 2019 04:09 PM PDT So I went to a screen repair place to fix my iPhone 6 screen earlier. They told me the guy wasn't there but I could leave it until he came at around 6pm. When I came back they said that they couldn't fix the screen because my "plate" was broken or damaged or something. Basically even though my phone works fine, the screen cannot be fixed. They refunded my money so I guess everything's straight there but they said that I have to buy a new brand new phone. Money isn't a huge issue but I don't want to spend extra money if I don't have to. I guess my question is were they telling the truth or should I try to find a more competent screen repair person? I don't have any network problem. Also they can hear me when I call them over phone. I've checked the microphone permissions for the apps and permissions are allowed. Need help. [link] [comments]  |
