Weekly /r/iOSGaming Discussion - What have you been playing lately and what do you recommend? - October 14, 2019

    Posted: 13 Oct 2019 09:11 PM PDT

Please use this thread to discuss whatever iOS games you've been playing lately. They don't have to be new games, they can be old games and they do not have to be iOS original titles!

As long as it's an iOS game it belongs in here. Make sure to put the name(s) of the game(s) in bold to make it easier for people skimming the thread to see what you're talking about, and if you'd like to make it really convenient turn the game name into a hyperlink that sends people directly to the App Store!

To keep track of the thread, the comments are sorted by "new" by default.

    Games for a low-end iPad?

    Posted: 13 Oct 2019 10:12 PM PDT

I recently found my lost iPad mini running on ios 9.3.5 and it has 12 gb storage. I wanna play games on this while I have free time at school, but I need games that don't take up too much storage, doesn't lag too much, and is compatible on an iPad mini. Any genre is fine.

Would it be safe to assume that any game that supports MFi will automatically support DualShock controllers? Or have there been any games that do MFi but not DS4?

    auto MMORPGS

    Posted: 14 Oct 2019 06:35 AM PDT

Probably gonna get some hate and downvotes, but, i'm looking for some mmorpgs with autoplay. Not full auto, really wanna play by my self in dungeons and raids, but sometimes I can't give all my attention to the game but still wanna level up, like an auto grind while I do something at college. So I know some, but, what's the "best" game of this genre? Or the one that isn't that bad as the others

Looking for games that convey a sense of loneliness or isolation on iPhone

    Posted: 13 Oct 2019 08:51 PM PDT

    Hello,

I interact with people enough, and sometimes I just want to get away.

Can you guys recommend any games that make you feel alone, or against the world? It's okay if you meet other characters or entities briefly, but ideally a majority of the journey would be made alone. Any genre is fine. Ideally, there would be a story of some sort that I could immerse myself in.

    Thanks!

    Stick click on ios?

    Posted: 13 Oct 2019 05:38 PM PDT

I'm using an Xbox controller to play fortnite/minecraft on iOS and the stick clicks won't register. Is there any way to get them to work or am I out of luck?
