Has anyone had this problem, know what it's from, or how to fix it? | Posted: 21 Sep 2019 05:50 PM PDT Finally downloaded iOS 13.0 last night. Now today, suddenly, there is no sound when i make calls, and i can not be heard. Speaker phone is grayed out, inaccessible. It still charges, but when i plug an aux cord into the Lightning port, the cord doesn't register and the music continues playing through the phone speaker....it's dumbfounding. So to recap.... 1.) | News Notifications not appearing on new iPhone instead only old iPhone Posted: 21 Sep 2019 05:15 PM PDT I just upgraded to an iPhone 11 pro max from an iPhone X . I did the quick setup with the two phones next to each other to transfer basic settings then I chose restore from backup to transfer the bulk of that data when that option showed up. I then physically moved my SIM card over from the iPhone X to the iPhone 11. I am not using esim. Since the move, my news notifications like USA Today or NBC news appear on my old iPhone X (WiFi connection only of course since I moved the sim) but do not appear on my new iPhone 11 pro max. I checked that notifications were turned on for these apps (they were) and that do not disturb was not on. Any idea how to solve this problem and get my notifications on to the new iPhone ? I think I had this problem once before ( perhaps my 5S to 6s upgrade or my 6S to X upgrade) but I can't recall what I did to have them start showing up . [link] [comments]  |

It's acceptable to get an email in the middle of the night, but I get calls and texts at all hours of the night. | Exclamation point inside circle, video won’t play Posted: 21 Sep 2019 04:57 PM PDT I recorded two videos, using the back camera to be exact, on my phone after updating to ios13 and have also screen recorded a few videos. For some odd reason when I go into my camera roll the screen recorded videos and the videos prior to the update play but the two videos I took post-update don't. With the update videos in the camera roll now automatically play once clicked upon, but these two videos don't play and instead an exclamation point inside a circle appears in the center. Not on the right hand corner like when you use 'optimize iPhone storage' which is your phone is signaling that the content needs to be brought down from the cloud. I turned off and on my phone. I backed up my phone. I switched from 'optimize iPhone storage' to 'Download & Keep originals' and then switched back. Nothing. It's been 2 days now.. and those two videos still won't play. | iPhone 6 - Calendar - "Merged" with iCloud. Lost local events. Posted: 21 Sep 2019 02:21 PM PDT Hi, I have an iPhone 6. I have a slew of calendar events stored locally on the phone. I hadn't set up iCloud backup yet. The previous backup onto the PC is a long time ago (I didn't realize wifi backup wasn't enabled just plug in). I just bought a MacBook and wanted to sync the calenders (via iCloud) and also setup the family sharing. I did so. I was prompted to "MERGE" the calendar with the cloud but it replaced my phone calendar with the near empty cloud one (it added contact b-days and a subscribed calendar). I can't find the events I added onto my phone from before. Is there a way to restore my old calendar or turn on the non-cloud entries I had? Thanks! [link] [comments]  |

| iPhone 8 reboots a lot help please Posted: 21 Sep 2019 12:37 PM PDT So I had just gotten a new iPhone 8 like in July/August and once I got it I started to download games like clash Royale and Pokémon go. Then I went on vacation like a couple weeks later and it was really fun to play Pokémon go because I was traveling a lot, but every time I opened the game I would load In and my iPhone 8 would just shut down and reboot like when it shows the apple logo with a black screen, so then it turns back on and I type in my passcode and get back on my iPhone. But the thing is it would do that like every time I opened there game. But it got so bad that it would start doing it when I wasn't even in Pokémon go and it was getting really frustrating so me and my parents took it to the apple store to get it fixed. So they told us to reset the settings and that fixed it. But now my iPhone just started doing it again after a couple weeks of not doing it at all. Just to mention I have not be on Pokémon go for a while, right now I have recently been playing clash Royale. So I tried to reset the settings again but it didn't work. What do I do I need some help. | Help my I phone 7 is not loading anything in the internet. Posted: 21 Sep 2019 09:58 AM PDT So about 2 weeks ago now I got the dreaded no service issue on my iPhone 7 and I went to Apple and they gave me a brand new phone, I then went home and restored my phone from the backup I made on my computer and I saw that the no service issue did not go away. I then took the SIM card out and just wiped it with my finger and put it back in and that seemed to fix the problem my phone worked fine for 2 weeks. Now I'm having a problem where my phone will not load anything if I'm not connected to WiFi. If I restart my phone it works for about 30 seconds and the same thing happens if I call someone then hang up. I can still call people and send regular SMS text messages but I can't use I message or anything that uses mobile data. I also have sprint my guess is my SIM card must be shot or on its way out but I'm really not very savvy with this stuff so I hope I gave enough information. [link] [comments]  |

One of the main things I noticed was that my photo camera roll, all the photo tiles were much bigger and in rows of 3 compared to my iPhone X that had rows of 4. I figured the bigger screen wouldn't minimize photo tiles shown. Is this an update in iOS or can this be changed? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 21 Sep 2019 06:03 AM PDT Running up against a Apple Notes syncing issue. for context: I was running iOS 13.1 beta on my iPhone 7. I just switched to the iPhone 11 last night. I'm still using the same settings and iCloud account on both devices. My problem: Only a few notes out of the hundreds of notes have synced to my new device. I went on iCloud.com and saw all of my notes there as well as no change in the total size of my notes. And as a sidenote, the same thing is happening to my iPhone 7. Only a few notes show up. Any idea what's happening? Do I just need to let it do it's thing and it'll magically appear one day? [link] [comments]  |

One for each phone number obviously. But now after the update it seems that the phone has taken it upon itself to merge all those texts into one thread. So now for instance when I want to message my colleague I'm not sure if my text arrives on his private phone or his company phone. What's going on and how can I stop this tomfoolery ?? | Posted: 21 Sep 2019 02:54 AM PDT Hi, I am about to do a iPhone restore after the iOS13 update failed. I will then restore from an encrypted backup I did just before I attempted to update. If I restore to factory settings and then restore from the encrypted backup I made what am I likely to lose? Will I lose Apps... or contacts...photos? Or what else might not get restored? Also, I didn't sync my phone before doing the update...will that do anything? I just want to know what I might lose before I do the restore... or consider one of those recovery software.... if they work at all.. If anyone can help me It will be very much appreciated. I don't want to delete it and download it again because I did that with Duolingo and.. it didn't let me download it again, even with enough space. I'm assuming it's because of the fact that it's an Iphone 5 or that it has an old iOS - I don't know what it is but it won't let me just download iOS 12 because it says my iOS is so old that I need to update it with iTunes on a computer.
