| ‘Mark as watched’ acting flaky for anyone else? Posted: 05 Sep 2019 10:48 AM PDT I finished Legion (great FX show) but it won't disappear from my 'Up Next' list. I've tried marking the last episode as watched on Apple TV 4K, iPad, and iPhone. None work. Guess it's just gonna sit there forever? Anyone else had problems with marking as watched lately? | Home Sharing via Apple TV app in tvOS 13 Posted: 05 Sep 2019 06:02 PM PDT Apologies if questions about betas are frowned upon, but does anyone know why Apple has decided not to integrate home sharing into the "Library" tab of the Apple TV app running on tvOS like they do in iOS/iPadOS/macOS? It seems strange to make this experience different between the platforms, and it would allow users to more easily (in my opinion) transition to using the TV app as their primary source for content. | Youtube TV continues to stream content even when I leave the app Posted: 05 Sep 2019 05:50 AM PDT Greetings all, I have 3 Apple TV 4Ks and 3 Roku Ultras. When I want to leave the Youtube TV app on one of my Rokus, I swipe over the the profile icon and select exit. This button is missing from the Apple TV Youtube TV app. I realize once I exit the app I can double click the home button on the Apple TV remote and swipe up on the Youtube TV app, but I was looking for a simpler solution within the Youtube TV app. I also don't understand why the Youtube TV app continues to stream content even when not actively displayed on the Apple TV. I watched the data continue to pile up even when not being watched as long as the app was still running in the background. Any help would be appreciated. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 05 Sep 2019 11:02 AM PDT I love that the Apple TV app can pull data from a number of different streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon, Hulu etc.. I buy movies through iTunes but also have quite a large collection in VUDU. Currently searching for movies through the apple tv app does not sync with VUDU, does anyone know if there's a workaround for this? [link] [comments]  |
| Is there a way to increase the remotes range? Posted: 05 Sep 2019 06:27 AM PDT I just mounted the ATV4K to the back of my TV and ran all the wiring but it's having issues with the remote connecting from 12 ft away. I didn't know it needed a clear unobstructed site to the remote. Is there an extension or something I can add to really beef up the reception of its antenna so I can keep it behind the wall mounted tv? [link] [comments]  |
