    (Note: This may work for other apps like WhatsApp who use the voip background service, use at your own risk.)

    Thank you to the original tutorial taken from this comment.

    1. Open Filza and navigate to /var/containers/bundle/Application
    2. Enter the "Messenger" folder and then the "Messenger.app" folder
    3. Look for info.plist
    4. Select it, make a copy and paste it in the same folder. Rename it to info.plist.bak This is your backup in case you need it. Or you can just delete the app and reinstall it from the app store if you mess anything up
    5. Open info.plist in property list editor or text editor.
    6. Tap on "root". Scroll down and look for "UIBackgroundModes"
    7. Tap on the "i" symbol next to it, you'll see a new list with 5 strings. Remove the voip string.
    8. Hit back, then hit save and you're done

    I personally disabled all 5 strings (voip, location, fetch, etc). This may affect notifications however, so if you care about those only remove the VOIP string.

    I also did this process for the main Facebook app.

    I have Mikoto installed that claims to disable the background VOIP services, however it does not work. This method does and it instantly kills any background activity, as you will see in your battery manager. Hope it helps someone out there.

    [Tutorial] Installing ReProvision over SSH (rootless)

    This script was actually made for testing on A12 devices when I thought Jake would release a Rootless jailbreak for us A12 users, but it seems he just didn't release anything. Anyway I found this working on other devices with the same jailbreak and thought it might come in handy for those who use rootless and for future rootless jailbreaks (don't know if there will be any :/)

    I'm currently on Chimera; iXS Max on 12.1.1. Most features work aside from viewing statements and making any changes pertaining to a credit card.

    Any suggestions would be also be appreciated!

    EDIT: I've already used UnSub to disable tweak injection in the app itself. Still no go.

    [Question] iFunbox App Sandbox access not working all of a sudden (non-jailbroken)

    Hey guys so I know this isn't directly related to jailbreaking, but it is within the realm of iPhone exploiting so I figured I'd shoot this question to y'all. Bascially, earlier today I was moving mp4s from my PC to my phone using the "Open Sandbox" feature in iFunbox. The app in question is "MEGA", which allows iTunes File Sharing.

    Randomly, later in the day, when I try to open sandbox in iFunbox to access MEGA and move my MP4s, I get a message stating:

    "Connection Failed

    App Sandbox access is restricted by Apple to ones with "iTunes File Sharing" enabled since iOS 8.3. Jailbreak is required to open the sandbox of this app. Be sure 'Apple File Conduit' is installed from Cydia"

    That makes sense, except for the fact that I've been running the latest version of iOS for months, and App Sandbox access has literally been working this whole time. Why did it suddenly stop working, and what can I do to fix it?
